This is definitely a retro property. The green carpet was a surprise and the unique variety of furnishings made it an interesting stay. The beds were comfortable and the separation of sleeping areas was a benefit since the four of us were coming and going at different times. The new kitchen appliances were an advantage since we had to do some food prep for a graduation party.Overall it was a good stay.
There's a lot of history in this house, but I would describe it as a sort of time capsule - very well-preserved and so interesting to spend time in. There was plenty of space for our little one to play, the beds were very comfy, and the little patio out back is sized just right for some relaxing evening conversations.
Everything was in very good order. Very quiet location with easy access. The kitchen was very well stocked, with a bonus of spices in the cupboard and keurig cups. There were also small supplies available in the bathroom in case you forgot something. Very well thought out with nice touches.
Fantastic stay! Loved this property. The kitchen is well stocked with any dish, appliance, comfort you could ever need. I absolutely LOVED the decor and nostalgic vibe. The owner/host was awesome and quickly answered any questions. We loved it and enjoyed the area quite a bit. 10 stars!!

Love this place
Loved this house, great communication from host and they were very accommodating
Such a nice house, you can tell it’s loved and cared for. The decor is 70s but everything you’d need modernized has been updated. Hosts were very quick to respond and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. It’s quiet, feels rural but is only 5 mins from all kinds of food, groceries, etc. recommend trying Nicks restaurant the food was amazing
This time capsule was perfect for a girls trip. Many photo opportunities in vintage environments provided for a wonderful stay. The outdoor space is also beautiful. The kitchen is packed with vintage dishes and every type of serving ware. The sleeping space was ample and comfy. Linens are comfortable and many extra available. We want to come back!

What a great experience
The house was a beautiful, homey, clean, comfortable time capsule. The owner was kind, generous, gracious and very easy to communicate with. The home is in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. Spent an amazing thanksgiving with my family in this wonderful home. My father’s health is failing and this might have been his last holiday season and having such an amazing house to do our gathering in was just such an incredible blessing. I wish there was a way to give 10 stats. Thank you again for such a great experience
We had a 2 night stay but the 1st night the heat kept creeping up to 77. We had an older dog, we bought a fan & used 1 of there floor fans for it was uncomfortable. We contacted, we thought the owner & after about 4 texts we were dealing with a meadeador. Finally she said she would contact the owner. The owner contacted us & said a maintenance man would be out in the morning. We left a couple hrs the next morning & came back to creeping temps again73 by noon. We left immediately & didn't use our 2nd night for it was extremely uncomfortable. The owner said the maintenance man was out, but nothing got fixed. The owner refunded us around 1/2 of our fees & we suggested she had a thorough assessment of the air conditioner. The place was nice & we would have stayed if the air conditioner worked. The fan in the living room didn't work, water pressure low in kitchen & it sounded like a smoke detector battery beeb ever so often. Need to have some one go through & fix all the problems..

Time Capsule
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful time capsule of a house. The modest amenities didn’t take away from the experience—in fact, they added to the charm of stepping back in time. It’s truly a unique place, and we’d love to learn more about the history of both the house and the surrounding area. Definitely a memorable stay, and we would love to visit again!
Time, capsule throwback, retro justice explained. Which we love. Great day wonderful host.

2025 Trip
We had a good experience. The house was an excellent place for a home base. We were busy during the day and just spent the evening there. There were two of us couples. The lay out of the house was wonderful for that. We were never in each others way.
We had a wonderful stay. The only issue we ran into was that the code we were told to use for the door was incorrect. We contacted the person and were given a new code to use. Aside from that we had no issues. Beautiful, vintage home that is very well taken care of. Would definitely stay again.
Long weekend with the wife to hit the antique stores and the US Air Force Museum. Well equipped with a Master on one side and 2 bedrooms and a bath on the other with dining/lr/kitchen in-between. Lots of steps, so if you are mobility impaired I probably would think twice. Zero issues with the property or amenities while we were there. Would book again.
We went to visit our grandson and his wife and meet our 7 week old great grandson. We had an awesome time. House was great. Kitchen cabinets could be better organized.
