Amazing stay with an amazing & lovely host! 10/10

Our stay at this lovely retreat was truly unforgettable! The place is incredibly cosy, clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The enclosed space made it completely safe and ideal for bringing our dog along, which was a big bonus. The key highlights of the property are the fireplace, which added so much warmth and charm to the experience, and the stunning scenic views from the verandah. One of my fav spots was a delightful nook in the house near the fireplace, surrounded by glass windows overlooking the breathtaking views - great for winter. The privacy and space between the guest accommodation and the owners' house were great, giving us a sense of seclusion while still knowing help was nearby if needed. Jeanette, the host, was one of the kindest and most empathetic people I’ve ever rented a place from. She was always open for a friendly chat if you wanted, but also respected our privacy. Her two loving and playful dogs were a highlight of the stay, especially since she even offered if we needed to pup-sit our beagle so we could have some private couple time. Watching and knowing our dog was in a space and friendly space was very reassuring.A unique touch to our stay was the chance to interact with their animals—two mini ponies and a horse. Jeanette graciously allowed us to feed and pat them. Shops are only 7 mins away: Safeway, cafes. To top our trip off Jeanette generously offered us a late check-out since no one was booked the day we were leaving
