About this property
The Huntsman Cabin
The Huntsman Cabin is located very close to the heart of Warburton set on 15 acres overlooking the town. You could even walk to town if you choose to. If you are lucky you will get to see deer roaming the property, wallaby's sunbaking on the lawn and birdlife in abundance.
The Huntsman is simple but comfortable. It is safe, peaceful and tranquil. Leave your cares in the city and enjoy the serenity of bird song in the morning, peace and quiet during the day and silence at night.
The Huntsman cabin is located at the high end of the property and overlooks the town.
Reaching the cabin is via the main driveway.
The driveway is steep and requires a car with power to get you up the hill. All wheel drive or 4x4 will do the trick. A conventional car will also make it with steady driving. It's only short but quite steep.
We live in the big house down the hill but understand you are here to enjoy your privacy. We will not impede on your time unless required.
Communiction is via this platform.
Internet - I have provided a portable modem within the cabin. The connect instructions are in the manual in the cabin.
Kitchen - There is a microwave oven, toaster, kettle and a portable 2 hob cooker. Simple meals can be prepared in the kitchen area.

What a beautiful place, from the moment we arrived I felt so peaceful and relaxed. The place was so warm and cosy in the middle of winter with the fire that we truly didn’t want to leave. Already planning our trip back!
We had a great relaxing peaceful holiday in an amazing unique cottage
What an amazing cottage with so many things to see and yes the huntsmen on the porch got me ( even though fake) and the different wildlife at night great stay
Thanks Lucy
Not only was this place lovely, but it was also very interesting! It also left a sort of mark on me to think about how my own living space looks, because let me tell you, this place has character!Lucy was incredibly friendly when we communicated with her via messages, and very prompt to respond.I recommend this place :) Thank you Lucy.
Situated in the woods amongst giant tree ferns our cottage was comfy and warm.
Loads of walks for the active tourist and only a stone’s throw from the wineries of the Yarra Valley. The local cuisine was delicious and we even discovered an artisan baker nearby that sold great bread and pastries. What more could you want?
Cosy little place, slightly over the top with decorations, felt quite busy. Ambient lights, but would benefit of good light especially in kitchen and bathroom.
Overall nice little place.
This cottage is a cozy ,small, quaint little place that welcomes you with a warm hug. If you like cottage style with individual decorations dotted around the place then you will love it as we do. L
Huntsman is an artistically appointed, eclectic slice of heaven. A private retreat among the ferns and trees, close to all that Warburton has to offer. The outdoor shower was the highlight of the stay - what an experience. Waking up to bird song and the laugh of the kookaburras was a treat. We felt so at home and did not want to leave.
Was such an incredible weekend, just what me and oartner needed. Switch off completely. The surroundings are sensational, would definitely recommend to everyone. Will definitely be back. The decor was a hot topic all weekend
We stayed three nights. This is a very unique cottage with lots of character. Very comfortable and well appointed. Everything you need for your stay.
A very quiet position among the tall ferns and gums where you will experience beautifully natural surroundings.
We hope to return one day.
