This rental was PERFECT!! The property manager was quick to respond to a question I had. We were in the area for a wedding and this house was amazing. All 9 of us had a comfortable place to rest and plenty of space to spread out. The property is equipped with lots of outdoor space and comfortable indoor places for people to gather and visit. I have stayed in a lot of rentals but this by far was one of our families' favorites. My son LOVED having the kayaks available and spend most of his time with us at the lake!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We are thrilled that the house was perfect for your family's wedding trip and that everyone had plenty of space. It is great to hear that your son enjoyed the lake and the kayaks as well. We would love to host you all again anytime.
We didn't meet the host but we enjoyed the welcome basket and the convenience of the home. From clear instructions regarding wifi and household items to book detailing places to visit in the area.
This house was a wonderful, beautiful and very relaxing experience. Cory and her team made it such an amazing time. Cory showed me around the property, made sure we had everything we needed and provided us with a gift basket! Thank you. This is one we have to come back to next year. Truly made our thanksgiving special.

Reunion
Our reunion at Murrayville on Lake Lanier was a welcomed, happy one! The house met our needs: the beds, baths, and kitchen were comfortable and the outdoor conversation areas added a lot because the October weather was so beautiful! Thank you for providing us with a place for all.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciate your feedback.
We had a fantastic time with a very accommodating host. Everything was perfect and the icing on the cake was my son catching a real nice catfish off the dock. We will be back for sure. Thank you so much for everything!

Congrats on catching a fish. We are looking to add more fish gear in the future. We are glad you enjoy your stay. See you again soon. Thanks!
The house was well equipped and had a beautiful view. Driving to the house was a little rough in the dark with curving roads and hills. Overall, great stay.
The house was wonderful, with all the amenities and beautiful views! The dock ladder was broken and unsafe to use but luckily there was a kayak launch to assist with getting in and out of the water. The house was well labeled with where everything was and how to use it which was very nice especially with a bigger group. We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

Thanks for the detailed review and your feedback. The swim ladder has been replaced. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and are looking forward to hosting you again. Thanks!
We had an amazing stay at a beautiful and spacious house in Georgia. The location was perfect, offering both convenience and tranquility. The house itself was incredibly comfortable and well-appointed, with plenty of space for everyone. We especially loved the kayaking experience, which added an extra layer of fun to our trip. The fact that the house was dog-friendly made it perfect for our entire group. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway

Thanks for the review - so glad you had a lovely vacation on the lake! We loved the fire pit too, and even improved it with additional seating and a covered patio. Would be happy to host you again!
We had a great time reuniting with family over the weekend in Murrayville. The big sell for us was a dock right on the lake. My husband drove our boat up, and it was so convenient to have it docked right outside the backyard for lake cruising. Overall, a great home with plenty of space to spread out as there were three individual families sharing the space! We had a few issues with doors that wouldn’t close all the way (we were traveling with a 2-year-old), and the hot water upstairs was hit or miss, but would definitely recommend the property! The view out back in the morning is unbeatable!

From the owner: "Thanks for your feedback, glad you enjoyed the stay. 1. Working on fixing the doors 2. Issue with the shower valve that we will replace as soon as possible."
Very nice house for family, 2 exceptions. First step up into house from front porch is treacherous...for people carrying stuff or babies. Its unexpectedly high. And we rented this house to swim, but the dock swim ladder was 100% unusable, it had broken loose from dock and was covered in algae at bottom. Using boat launch was doable, but very challenging/dangeous for mom with infant and seniors in our party. Also, expected more swim toys ( noodles, blowup rafts, etc), but shed had none. Shed actually looked ransacked inside when we arrived. As we are neighbors, we brought our own from home, so not a big hardship.

Good location that could use a little more everyday comfort
I visited this property for an extended weekend with my immediate family and sister-in-law's family. The location of the house is good (15 minutes to grocery, 25 to Dahlonega) and there is plenty of space in the bedrooms and common areas. Access to the dock was easy and the owners provided a kayak and canoe. It also appeared a new fire pit and patio area had been installed. Some of the indoor space could have been put to better use. The basement in particular had a large room that could have had a TV but was mainly empty. The sofa in the living room was also very uncomfortable. The main drawbacks were that some of the items in the listing were not provided as expected. There were no towels to use at the lake (very limited towels overall, actually) and there were no wood pellets for the grill. When I talked with the owner, he acknowledged that they didn't have those things but didn't offer any solution. Also, the coffee pot was much too small for a house with five bedrooms.Overall good experience, but the property needs some simple upgrades to the basic amenities to bring it in line with what I've come to expect in Lake Lanier properties.

From the Owner: "Thank you for your feedback. We truly appreciate it.Regarding the living room sofa, we’re currently in the process of selecting a new one to replace it. We’ve also added 12 new beach towels to address the shortage you mentioned. As for the wood pellets, we don’t provide them, but you can find nearby grocery stores that carry them listed in the guidebook provided at the property. Thanks again for your helpful comments!"
