We stayed here during the month of March, spring break month, with our dogs. The road that is in the front of the Ambassador was super busy with traffic, and noise. However, the back of the building is a beautiful view with the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. The access to the private beach was literally just a walk down some steps. NO ALCOHOL is allowed on the beach during March ($500 fine if caught) You can rent nice beach chairs for $20 a DAY (this is not part of the Ambassador). No dogs allowed on the beach (there is a beach about a half mile away where they are allowed) The pool is not heated, but there is a nice hot tub area on site.
The little dog area is convenient, but small, not a place to run your dog, it’s just for potty breaks. There is not a lot of green space anywhere around there, you do have to walk a few blocks to get to green space.
Our unit at the Ambassador was just as pictured, no surprises. It was clean and bright. We were very pleased with it. The balcony was our favorite spot.
Just a few minor things for your information, there wasn’t a toaster, there is just the one quilt on the bed (no other blankets), no clocks at all (but…you are on vacation), no beach towels. If you need a dark room to sleep, bring a sleep mask, the bedroom has some filtered light from outside lights and if the bathroom light is on, it lights up the bedroom through the beautiful fish stained glass window. We enjoyed our stay!
