STILL IN LOVE WITH FT MYERS BEACH!

My family has stayed at Captain's Bay for many years. We waited until we heard positive information about Ft Myers Beach's recovery from Ian before going back. There's still some minor blemishes on the property, but it is clear that Captains Bay and the island are back! Bravo to all involved in the cleanup! No one should hesitate vacationing at FMB... it needs our support! We'll be back!

Very clean condo within walking distance of beach. Condo is part of a 6 building complex and has a nice pool. I used the pickleball courts regularly with several others who welcomed me while I was vacationing. Parking on premises, but traffic is heavy so you must plan ahead depending on your destination. The beach is a wide expanse and was never over populated.
