Coast Awhile in Ocean Isle Beach

Oceanfront 2 bedroom/2 bath condo located at Sand Dwellers I complex. Private balcony with unobstructed ocean view to enjoy your morning coffee and evening cocktail. Public beach access is at the end of the condo complex, which also has an oceanfront pool for you to enjoy. Newly remodeled kitchen and updated bathrooms. The building has 4 units per building. This unit is on the second floor to give you the best view of the ocean.

We provide bed linens and towels!!!

Condo is well-kept and very clean! Master suite is equipped with a king bed, en suite bathroom and flat screen TV. The second bedroom has two double beds, flat screen TV and a full bathroom in the hallway. An additional flat screen TV is located in the living room. There is seating for 6 in the dining area and 4 stools for dining at the kitchen counter. The newly remodeled kitchen is generously stocked with all the high quality necessities to create your meals at the beach. There is also a washer & dryer in the condo. The condo complex also has an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand from your time at the beach. To be able to stay connected to everyday life, wireless internet is available, as well as TV and other media streaming.

Coast Awhile was wonderful! We scheduled a last minute trip and the host Jeff was quick to respond and answer all questions. The property was clean, well equipped and furnished, along with the inclusion of bed linens and towels made for light packing. A quick walk to the beach and amazing views. Will definitely plan to stay again for future trips.

The room we stayed in was very nice, clean and loved having linens provided, and nice it didn't allow pets. As for the property too many pets allowed there. The pool was dirty and dog hair everywhere on property. Plus someones pet left a large pile of crap on our balcony behind the chair left of our main entrance the last night were there,and no we didn't clean it up because we don't have pets.

Great stay!

Our family of 4 had a very enjoyable stay at this property. The condo was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The host, Jeff, was very responsive and pleasant in our interactions. The condo had easy access to the pool and beach, which were both clean and not overly crowded. We’ll definitely be looking to stay here again on future trips to OIB!

Perfect getaway!

This property is all that is promised and more! Very clean, feels brand new, and super comfortable. Perfect location, just a short drive to shops and restaurants and very quiet. The view of the ocean is spectacular and the beach was clean and not too crowded. Exactly what we were looking for; we will definitely be back!

Wonderful Family Vacation!

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath ocean front condo was perfect for my husband, daughter, son-in-law, grandson, and I. It was very comfortable, charmingly decorated, and included all the necessities. The pool was located just a few steps from the condo, and we had beautiful views of the ocean, which was just a short walk away. The beach was gorgeous and uncrowded, and there were many restaurants just minutes away. We had a fabulous time and would love to stay here again!

Last minute getaway

First time vacation with VRBO-could not have been any more perfect! Condo was just like being at home. Kitchen was supplied with anything and everything you could possibly need to cook in. We loved every minute and hated to leave.

Much Needed Vacation

My family and I decided to visit Ocean Isle Beach for the first time. We absolutely loved it! It was one of the most relaxing vacations we've taken. Our room was very nice and clean. The kitchen was well stocked which made cooking easy and convenient. The pool and beach access was also nice. Jeff was super helpful and always available for my questions. We will definitely be visiting again. 🏖

Strange linen policy

Got there tired after a long day and was surprised to find the beds all unmade with a note saying we had to do that ourselves. Never seen that before in 10 years of doing vacation rentals. Had to spend the next twenty minutes with tired screaming kids while I made up all three beds. Place was as advertised and great location otherwise! That just made for a crappy initial experience. I’m not the cleaning crew!

A true five star rating

This condo was completely refurbished a couple of years ago, and on the inside it looks brand new with nice fixtures and a beautiful kitchen. Everyone that we bumped into there was nice. The only thing we couldn't find in the cupboards was a colander; everything else we could have ever needed was there. Jeff, the host, was very responsive to my notes before the trip, and the check-in and check-out were as easy as it gets. Everything in the condo worked as new, and everything cleaned up easily. Hot water was almost instant, and there was plenty of it. The water in the shower wasn't the typical hard stuff I've experienced at other places. The ice maker made buckets of ice silently and quickly. The walk to the beach wasn't just outside the back door, but it wasn't a big deal for us to use the walkway over the dunes that was right next to the complex. The location near the end of the island was great. No through traffic there, and at low tide there is a sand bar that becomes exposed and you can walk out on that. We had a great time there and will likely come again when the time comes. It was so well managed that I asked the host if they managed additional properties. This is the only beach property that they list - too bad. Thank you, Jeff, for sharing this with us, and for making the experience so enjoyable for us. I highly recommend this rental given the price point. You won't find a better maintained place.

Keeps getting better

This is our 8th year coming to OIB and this rental did not disappoint. Location, kitchen and amenities were well described, communication with ownwmer was seemless. We really enjoyed the rental as it was clean and had everything we needed for the week between linens to kitchen stuff and decor was perfect

This is our fourth stay at Coast Awhile in Ocean Isle Beach and this stay was just as wonderful as our previous stays. What makes this place extra special is our host Jeff. A good example is that during our week the town of OIB experienced a few hours of power outage. Jeff kept us updated the whole time. We’ll definitely be back!

Great location. We had a good stay. The only complaint I had was that the pool was closed, the ad never said the pool was closed. 4 warnings that aren’t discussed in the ad: 1) This condo is on the third floor. 2) longer walk to beach than expected, this is due to dunes blocking off the ocean entrance. 3) Cannot see the sunrise from the balcony, condo faces the south. 4) the balcony is shared with condo next store.

Myrtle Beach golf trip

Stayed at the condo for an old guys golf trip. Condo & accommodations were great. The real issue is the parking. The condo allows for one vehicle only. While there are several parking passes available in the condo, only one spot can be used and if you park on the street the police will ticket you. So if you have more than one vehicle, it’ll be a challenge.
