Very accommodating hosts and always communicating! Clean, peaceful place to stay with everything you need! Very convenient to everything in town, and also very relaxing views in the back. Hope to be back soon!
Fun weekend getaway while our house was being worked on, everything was as described! It was MOSTLY very clean, there was just some left over trash here and there. They had anything you would need for a longer trip. The kids really enjoyed it!
This house has everything! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to fix a meal. There are so many games to play, including the arcade. There a lots of pillows and blankets in the super comfortable living room space. The beds are really comfortable too! The river is beautiful. There was plenty of porch seating and the hot tub was great. We loved everything about this house.
We’ve been to the area several times but this was our first time staying at this house and it was perfect! Neighbors were all very friendly, the kids enjoyed the river and the pool, perfect location to Helen and downtown Hiawasee. Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay at this river cabin! The hot tub was great, it was very clean and we had zero issues with it. We used it every night! We were a bit thrown off by the cabin being in a neighborhood, but it was totally fine. There are neighbors close, but we had no issues with noise or disturbance of any kind. I made several meals in the kitchen and was pleased to find I had all the pans/untensils needed, and the grill was easy to use and propane was provided. Our beds were comfortable, the AC was cold, the place was clean...we really enjoyed our stay! Our recommendation is head to Hiawasee Brewery! We went there a couple times, the food is made from scratch and is delicious, and their craft beer is great too. We also loved visiting the local gardens, and utilized the pickle ball courts in town. I had very little communication with the host, but that was mostly due to us not needing assistance with anything. :)
This is such a cute and cozy cabin! Very clean and well kept, stocked with all the cooking utensils you need. It sits on a quiet neighborhood street, that also has a pool. We didn’t use it because we visited in February. It’s spacious enough for 8 people, or a family of 4 plus 2 dogs! The location is perfectly situated far enough away from town so as to avoid the crowds and traffic but close enough to make a quick run to Ingles and Dollar General, or to grab a quick bite to eat. We loved being able to walk by the river and catch (and release) rainbow trout, relax in the hot tub, play games on the arcade, or just lounge around watching tv. Definitely somewhere we will visit again!Thank you for sharing your place Nikki!
Lots to do & explore. Many great hikes, tubing in helen, water sports on lake chatuge. Fishing in the backyard.

Lovely cabin in a beautiful setting. We had a great time just relaxing and exploring the area. Very well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, super comfy couches, and a serene outdoor area. Owner was very responsive to the couple small issues we had. We would definitely stay here again!

We caught the peak color for leaf peeping and the river had plenty of fish. The cabin easily accommodated all 7 of us. We had everything we needed for birthday celebrations and Thanksgiving dinner. We will definitely plan to stay again
Cabin had plenty of room with good sleeping arrangements. The play room was a good feature with games and TV for the kids. We all enjoyed the river, fishing (even though we didn’t catch any rainbow), fire on the riverbank roasting hotdogs and making s’mores. Very nice view!

The cabin was very clean, comfortable and nice.
We had a great time at the cabin. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and nice. While we stayed, we hiked the High Shoals Falls which was only 5 minutes away. My kids had so much fun. The owner, Michelle, responded to me promptly when I had questions. I highly recommend this place.

This was a family vacation for the 4th. House was spacious and in a great location to get to Hiawassi and the lake. We enjoyed watching the rabbits and groundhogs in the field in front of the house. The river had huge trout in it which thrilled my grandson and the pool behind the house was a definite plus with the small one. Communication with hostess was top notch and questions were quickly answered.
Renting went fine. The cabin is in a convenient location and we enjoyed our stay. The house needs a little TLC—like repairing lights that don’t work in the kitchen and bathroom, repair window shades, and add updated TVs. We loved the creek near the cabin. The changing leaves were beautiful!

Thank you for staying with us. Repairs noted and on maintenance schedule.
We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation at this cabin in GA right on the river. Everything was clean and there was just enough to do activity wise but very comfortable to rest. The owner was attentive with any questions or needs that arose. Our kids loved floating the river and roasting s’mores in the fire pit. It was great! We plan to come back in the future. ❤️

Great floor plan
Plenty of room at this cabin - bedrooms are far apart. Close enough to the town of Hiawassee, just a 5 minute drive. The cabin does not have a dishwasher but otherwise the kitchen well stocked. The living area is large with 3 full size couches.
