As with many high-rise oceanfront buildings, the smoke detection systems are designed to be very sensitive for safety purposes, so cooking smoke or steam can occasionally trigger an alarm. For future guests: The building has one parking garage, and we provide a resort map with your tower clearly circled so you know exactly where to park. We’re always happy to help with parking questions at check-in — a quick call or text gets an immediate response. Regarding the oven, thank you for reporting the alarm during your stay. We do want to clarify for future guests that the oven is thoroughly cleaned between every reservation. The fire alarms in the North Beach towers are extremely sensitive (for safety), and even a small bit of food spilling over during preheating — whether from a previous guest or during the current stay — can trigger them. After your visit, we re-inspected the oven and confirmed it was spotless. We always appreciate it when guests notify us during their stay so we can step in and help right away, and we’re glad you did. Thank you again for choosing our property!

As outlined in the rental agreement signed prior to your stay, the HOA performs exterior maintenance between November 1 and April 1. During your visit, the association completed a short-term, building-wide project that required temporary plastic covering over the windows. This work was outside of our control and was not specific to this unit. The maintenance window is disclosed in advance so guests can make informed booking decisions during the off-season, when condominium associations typically complete necessary exterior projects. Regarding kitchen inventory, the unit is stocked according to our standard inventory list. Had we been notified about a missing or needed item during your stay, we would have gladly addressed it right away. Comfort preferences such as mattress firmness can vary by guest, and we always encourage guests to reach out if there are concerns so we can assist in real time. We appreciate your stay and wish you the best in your future travels.

As mentioned when you first reached out, it's critical to let us know immediately of any items that need attention so that our team can jump in and assist. When we're not given the opportunity to verify these issues, then understandably we can't hold our cleaners accountable. There definitely wouldn't have been a major interruption. The owner of the cleaning company would have returned and fixed those items immediately and quickly. This is why we stress in multiple correspondence we send the need to report these things as they're found as we want all of our guests to have a 5 star trip. Thanks for staying with us!
