Sunny Side Up II is a cozy, bayfront retreat on Lafitte Bay—perfect for fishing trips, family getaways, or a relaxing escape by the water. This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation home is thoughtfully decorated and designed to make the most of its waterfront location, with sunrise views and direct access to the bay from your own private deck and boat slip.
Guests enter up the interior stairs into a light and airy common area. The living room features a large sectional, TV, and beautiful views of the bay, while the U-shaped kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals after a day on the water. The dining area is perfectly placed by the windows so guests can enjoy a waterfront view with every meal.

Outside, guests can unwind on the covered balcony with bay views and shaded seating. Under the house, you’ll find a picnic table, grill, outdoor shower, and swing—perfect for post-beach relaxation or cleaning up after a day of fishing. The deck includes a cleaning station and boat slip, making this the ultimate setup for anglers or anyone who wants to spend their days on the water.

As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
Please note the following house rules: 1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay. 2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time. 3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking. 4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance. 5. This property does not allow weddings or parties. 6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am. 7. Start dishes and linens before departure. 8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night. 9. This home is not pet-friendly.

The house and location were perfect. My son loved fishing off the dock while my wife and I enjoyed the deck. The beach was only about a 3 minute drive. Overall this place was perfect and we will definitely be returning for our next visit to Dauphin Island.
Loved the porch and view beds sleep good house was comfortable only negative thing would be the main door and the one downstairs were very hard to close need some maintenance on them yes and could have used a hair dryer but would come back
It was great to be on the water. House had plenty of towels and kitchen had lots of amenities. Outdoor shower was great to use after beach trip. The only negatives was the door did not want to open or close easily. We had to force it. The dishwasher didn’t open the hatch for soap to be dispensed so I had to open it so the dishes would get properly washed. Overall it was a nice place and we enjoyed our time there.
The dock is the most amazing thing about the house. You can sit out there and fish all day if you want! The kayaks are a great addition to the house as well. There’s beach access a short walk. There were 8 of us in the house and we seemed to have plenty of room. Would stay here again and maybe bring a boat.
