We had an amazing stay! The house was beautiful, very clean, well maintained, and had a fully stocked kitchen! The beach views were absolutely gorgeous, and having such easy access to the beach was perfect. The pool was also a HUGE hit with the kids and definitely one of their favorite parts of the trip!Now… the drive to the house deserves its own little review. The house is about 6.5 miles down the beach, which takes roughly 25 minutes—and apparently the beach likes to make sure you really earn your vacation! The sand was pretty rough during our stay, so the drive in could be a little stressful. By the end of the week, we felt less like vacationers and more like seasoned off-road professionals. Definitely come prepared for some beach-driving adventure!That being said, once you arrive, it’s absolutely worth it. The location, views, beach access, pool, and house itself were fantastic. The property host also gets a 5 for being helpful and quick responding! We made wonderful memories here and really enjoyed our stay. The sandy commute just gave us an extra vacation story to tell!

You are so funny!! Yes, the drive in can be put in the "making memories" category! But as you say, it just takes a little getting used to! Carova is worth every bit of sand driving.. the horses, the solitude, the wildlife, the sunrises, the million stars in the black sky! It all contributes to a VERY relaxing vacation. We hope you'll return, now that you are seasoned sand drivers. You can't get this kind of vacation anywhere else.

The home was exceptionally clean and felt like it was in brand new condition, which made settling in easy and comfortable (which we haven't always experienced in the past at other beach house's). The kitchen was well-equipped with most of what we needed for preparing meals, which came in handy as my brother and sister-in-law cooked up some amazing dishes (I helped a little, too!).The location was ideal—close enough to the beach to hear the waves, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and secluded. We especially loved the private pool, which we used almost every day. The screened-in section of the deck was our favorite hangout spot—it kept the bugs out and provided the perfect space to relax and enjoy the ocean air.One of the most memorable parts of our trip was seeing wild horses every single day. It added such a unique touch to our time there that you probably cannot experience anywhere else. Overall, this beach house was a perfect balance of comfort, nature, and relaxation. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet Outer Banks escape!

The location was amazing, and we immediately felt at home. Waking up each morning to watch the wild horses—and even seeing them on the beach a couple of days—was such a unique experience. This was our first trip to Carova, and it definitely won’t be our last.The power went out one morning, but we simply packed up and headed to the beach for the day. By the time we got back, everything was up and running again, so it didn’t affect our trip much at all.The pool was a huge bonus, especially on days when the ocean was too rough for the kids. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing Carova getaway. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had plenty of space for our family to spread out and relax. The pool was a huge hit after long days at the beach, and being just a few rows back from the ocean gave us the perfect balance of easy beach access and a peaceful setting.One of the coolest parts of the trip was seeing the wild horses right in the yard several times throughout the week. That alone made the experience unforgettable! The views from the house were beautiful, and we loved spending mornings with coffee on the deck and evenings winding down after a day in the sand.The property management made everything easy, and check-in and check-out were seamless. We never had any issues during our stay.We spent our week exploring the 4x4 beaches, collecting sea glass and shells, visiting the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, and enjoying great local seafood. There was always something to do, but we also loved simply relaxing at the house.This was the perfect place for our annual family vacation, and we made so many memories that we'll be talking about for years. We had the best stay here for our yearly family beach vacation! The house is beautiful and was very clean. Even being three rows back from the beach, the views were amazing. One of our favorite parts was seeing the wild horses come right through the yard a few different times during the week - it was such a cool experience! The pool was perfect for relaxing after the beach. We made so many great memories with our family here, and it's definitely a trip we'll always remember. We'd absolutely stay here again!
