The Wobbly Hobbit is a unique example of a sustainable construction method using clay, straw and sand that is hand sculpted to build this gem in the forest. An accessible living roof is a great place to spot the deer that meander through the forest. The studio has a functional kitchen, double bed and seating for the streaming TV service and is steps away from the detached bath house that houses a sink, composting toilet and a wine barrel shower. Have a hot tub (sorry, under repair) after a full day of taking in the sights of the beautiful Cowichan Valley. Golf, beaches, wineries, totem tours, hiking trails, mountain biking, superb dining and numerous other activities await. Victoria is a 45 minute drive and is accessible with daily bus service.
