Beautiful clean property with a great location. Close too many homes and central to doing excursions, close to Victoria and Sooke. Lance is extremely helpful with tips on the area and quick to respond if you need help with anything. Would recommend and will be going back if I'm ever in the area again!

Relax in the Highlnds

Beautiful relaxing 'home away from home'. Tastefully decorated with all the amenities you may need. The drive was absolutely beautiful to this location and the property was very quiet and you're surrounded by natue. Very relaxing. Would highly reccommend!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Highlands. This was the perfect way to relax after staying right in the middle of everything in downtown Victoria. We had a nice hike up to the Jocelyn lookout in Gowlland Tod Park as well. Great spot. Thanks.

Highlands Retreat

Great place to stay. Our pups had a difficult time, there was no grassy areas, and tree sap (pitch) on walkway was quite messy. Maybe consider putting up an A frame

Hi Patti, thank you for staying with us and for the feedback. We are surrounded by trees, a park down the road and lots of places to walk your dogs. As for the sap, we completely agree, my husband power washes the walk way before every guest stay and we are working on finding a permanent solution for the sap from the tree in the walkway. Great home away from home!

Me and my pup had such an amazing stay in the Highlands! We had to find a place for a month while our house underwent some restoration and this place really was such a beautiful home away from home. Thanks to the hosts, this stressful time felt like a vacation. They were great communicators and the place had everything we could have ever needed! Thank you for opening up this place!

Lovely stay amongst the trees

Really enjoyed staying in the suite. Surrounded by forest and lots of wildlife. It was quiet and peaceful. Loved being able to have our own patio area with comfortable chairs around a fire pit. Suite itself was very well built, very clean and nicely decorated. Beds were comfy and we had everything we needed for a very comfortable and enjoyable getaway. We were able to go on a nice hike in the Gowland Todd provincial park which was about 5 minutes away and also find dog friendly restaurants close by.

Wonderful Stay!

Our family stayed here during spring break, and it felt like a breath of fresh air being able to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life! The home is wonderfully decorated and was well-equipped for all our needs. The location is truly gorgeous and it is so, so peaceful being up in the treetops. The property is also conveniently close to hiking trails, which is what we spent majority of our time doing. We really appreciated the addition of a dog bed and dog bowls. Would definitely recommend and we hope to be back again!
