GREAT PLACE TO STAY!

STAY AWHILE was the perfect place to stay for a visit to the Ark Encounter or just to get away. Williamstown is a quaint little town with a big personality.This place is right in the center of town. Many things are within walking distance. The decor is very farmhouse modern. The bathrooms are updated with the finest shower structures. The beds are so comfortable, you fall asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow. The covers are very plush.Book a STAY. You won't forget it!

There were lamps with no receptacles to plug into. Had to drag a cord across the floor to plug in cpap. No heat in bathroom . Kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed.

"From the owner: Thank you for your feedback, and I’m glad the kitchen had everything you needed. I’m sorry you had trouble finding a convenient outlet for your CPAP. Because the building is older, outlet locations are more limited, but there is a nightstand with built-in USB and power, plus an outlet above the bed. I also appreciate the note about the bathroom heat, and I’m having that checked so it’s more comfortable moving forward. Please don’t hesitate to reach out during your stay if anything feels off. I’m always happy to help in the moment."

Good experience and enjoyed our time. Well decorated and makes good use of the space. Very ‘home’ feeling and cozy. Small things to get nearly perfect: we counted on washing clothes and the machine was being repaired (it happens, totally get it). Proactive communicated would be appreciated; the alternative given was at least helpful. Outlets in the back room did not work and was never resolved. And while looking for outlets, we noticed how dirty the floors really were under furniture. The living room couch is a little too worn and should be replaced.

From the owner: "I’m glad to hear you had a good experience and enjoyed your time. Thank you for your feedback. The washing machine was broken by another guest (we do not know who), and the replacement part is on back order. We have received confirmation that it should arrive soon. We placed a notice on the machine and offered the ability to do laundry next door, which previous guests have found satisfactory. Regarding the outlets that were not working at 8:11 PM on the night of check-in, I provided the assistance I could at that time. Unfortunately, we were unable to get someone to investigate the issue immediately, but it has since been resolved. As for the cleanliness of the floors, I feel the assessment is somewhat exaggerated. There was some wet and dry dust from the end of a swiffer under the bed. While the living room couch could be replaced due to the cushion sinking lower than the sides, it has been acceptable for the last Airbnb guests, and I lived there for 1.5 years without issue."
