Escape to a tranquil 8 acre retreat which features a unique, one-of-a-kind barn cabin in Glencoe, Ky. With 2 queen beds in 2 bedrooms (each with an adjoining bathroom), guests can unwind in comfort. Relax in the cozy living room and watch a movie or get some work done in the office space with 2 futons. Enjoy all that nature has to offer when your stay at our place. Build a fire in the fire pit and melt s'mores. Walk the hiking path mowed into the back acreage. Peacefully relaxing

We had such a relaxing week! This place was so peaceful and quiet, and centrally located to all the attractions we wanted to visit. The beds were comfortable, the living area was spacious, and the kitchen was well equipped. The owner was very nice and quick to respond when we had questions. We have recommended this place to several people already and would love to go back some day.

Country living at its best!

If you like staying in the country, unique features and horses as neighbors, this is the place for you. We loved the rough finishes and unique touches of the interior and the quiet and serene back yard off the patio.

Exactly what we were looking for!

Kathy was a great hostess and even provided a highchair for my one-year-old granddaughter. We really connected with her and appreciated everything she did for us. She was genuine and really wanted us to enjoy our stay and experience the farm. She also understood that a lot of people staying were planning to go to the Ark encounter and creation museum And had beautiful touches of decor to reflect that. The place also had a neat story about how it was built and was very rustic, but also modern at the same time. I would definitely stay there again if we planned a trip to the area.

Perfect Farm Getaway

We had the best time at this little farm for our visit to the Ark. The view was beautiful and the amenities were excellent. The kids could run off energy in the field and the adults could sit on the back deck. The property is so unique and the host made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Girls weekend away

Very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. Very cool layout. Beds were comfortable and clean. Floors are a little noisy. When you walk on Floors in loft it sounds like someone ia also walking downstairs. Took a minute to figure that out. Lol would definitely stay again.

Nice property, good amenities. Interior doors were difficult to have stay closed, exterior door lock wasn’t working properly, and it wasn’t quite ready at our scheduled check-in time, but these were only slight inconveniences.

Perfection!

My family and I stayed there for a weekend getaway and it was great! There were toys for my son to play with, the beds were comfortable and the living area was inviting. The house is located off the beaten path but you’re able to get where you need to go fast. The host was great and very responsive. I enjoyed going outside each day being greeted by the horses! If we go back to the area again we will stay there.

Quiet, Rustic Stay

If you’re looking for cookie-cutter perfection, this might not be the place for you. BUT, if you want a quiet, cozy, rustic experience, book now. Lots of character in the barn, and it’s a good landing place for those checking out the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter. Our three kids loved the horses and spent all of their spare time with them. Enjoyed pizza at the General Store, seeing deer in the back field, and hearing all of the nighttime nature noises. Keyless entry didn’t work but the host did then offer a key, and a few of the sliding door tracks could use some attention as the doors don’t stay closed/open.

Quiet & lovely!

The barn is lovely and it provided us with the quiet and grounding experience we were looking for. It was equipped with everything you could think of. If we are ever back in the area, we will be staying here again!

Beautiful Barn Stay for a Memorable Family Trip

We’re from North Carolina and visited the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter with our kids for Christmas. The barn was the perfect setting for our trip! The property is absolutely beautiful, with so many unique features—from the light fixtures to the natural trees used inside. We even spotted deer in the backyard while having our morning coffee.We highly recommend the barn to anyone visiting Kentucky and can’t wait to stay again when the Jerusalem exhibit opens. Kathy is a fantastic host—thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Family Ark Encounter Trip

My husband found this gem of a VRBO, I instantly fell in love when we walked inside. This rental was everything we could have asked for and more. The location was scenic and secluded, especially for those that enjoy seeing wildlife like us. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. The uniqueness of the lighting fixtures throughout and the bathrooms are absolutely amazing, truly unexpected but what a nice touch. We will highly recommend this place to family and friends. Nice/ Peaceful

The home was neat and clean. The snacks were a warm welcome. Pet friendly. One rule is that the pet has to be in a cage if left alone in the home. It would have been nice to know this before hand though it did not pose a problem for us. The view is great. We noticed there were blinds on all windows except the back doors. I guess that is a personal preference thing. The property affords privacy with its location. We would definitely stay again. I would recommend a stay if I
