About this property

Algonquin Waterfront Getaway With SW Sunsets

Welcome to our peaceful waterfront cottage on a sheltered swell of the Oxtongue River, with very easy access to Highway 60. This four season home is just minutes from Algonquin Park, Ragged Falls, Limberlost Reserve, Dwight Village, Dorset and Huntsville. Enjoy a shallow sandy entry—free of motorboats and perfect for paddling our 4 kayaks and swimming. The cottage is a great launching point for fall colours, Nordic and alpine skiing, hiking or snowmobiling. Ideal for a family / two couples.
The main cottage has one bedroom with a king bed and second bedroom with a queen bed. THIS IS NOT A PROPERTY TO PARTY ON! Have fun, laugh but no outdoor parties or outdoor music please.

We have a level 2 EV charger, North American Charging Standard (NACS)

Our dock is in May 1 to end October.

The main electrical panel is behind picture in second bedroom. If lights stop working or an appliance not working it's likely a tripped breaker which you can reset.

We love the proximity to Algonquin Park. There is so much to do in this area in a short radius. Algonquin Park is close as is the villages of Dwight, Dorset and the town of Huntsville.

What makes this property unique

It is on a quiet swell of the Oxtongue River. Easy portage into Oxtongue Lake or laze around on the peaceful river. Southwest exposure makes for great sunsets.
