Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house has everything we needed inside, all the amenities to still enjoy water and sun when the ocean was rough. Loved being able to walk across the street to the ocean any time I wanted and the beach in this area was not crowded at all. I would come back to this location and this house every every year if I could. When the ocean breeze flowed through the house, it was like a little piece of paradise.Also, can't recommend Paradise Beach Homes enough. The staff was very helpful during the booking process and they helped us secure an extra night. The only surprise I had was that the hot tub was controlled remotely. I've never experienced that before, but I understand it's a new standard for these. Now I know! It would be good to put that on the information sheet left on the coffee table. I think people would find that helpful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing time during our stay here. The view from the bedroom was amazing. I sat out there every morning drinking my coffee. Over all it was great. I would say that for a group of 6 it was a little on the tight side. The rooms were small for our group. The pool was a great bonus. However we paid extra for the hot tub and that was NOT worth it. While the water was hot we never had any jets or anything hot tub like. So I would say that was a waste of money. I can sit in a hot bath at home with no extra cost. Other than that it was great.

The house is well stocked with beach gear and pool things all down in the garage. We brought a wagon, chairs, and floats but wouldn't have had to! There's a baby gate and pack n play in the house and ton of kitchen appliances for cooking at home. The fridge is a little small for all of our food and drinks for the week but we made it work with coolers and the ice maker in the garage was great for this. There was a lot of stairs and with a toddler it was stressful at times. Definitely brings extra baby gates! The rooms are bright in the mornings but knowing this we just brought black out curtains for the kidos room. For the price, location, amenities, and the gorgeous pool I spent every afternoon in, this is a great place! The house was clean up on arrival but as days go on sand takes over! I was glad to find a broom inside and hose and outside shower that we used a lot to try and keep things more clean. Takes 5 minutes to get to restaurants or a liquor store and 10min to get to Walmart or Public. Thanks so much for letting us enjoy your home!

Pretty; ton of stairs and bad smell

Pretty house but don’t rent if you don’t like stairs. All bedrooms on top floor. Unloading and carrying luggage up 3 flights is horrible. Living room kind of small. Good views. Bad smell turned out to be a gas leak. Fire department had to be called before management office believed us, as they said the smell had been “looked at” the day before we arrived. We were not warned. We were moved to a very nice alternate location that was larger and had a better location with an extra bedroom, with all on one floor. Will return to the alternate location in the future.

Good Solid Beach Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House, overall, is great. Pool is fantastic! Location is great, just across the street from the beach, maybe a three minute walk. Garage had floats, a grill, and various other things to make the stay better. The two things that we didn’t care for was that the finishes in the house(sheets, bedding,etc) weren’t nice. Duvet cover had a whole in it, looked like a burn hole. The other thing could be seen as a positive to some. The bedrooms had too much natural light for our liking. It was almost impossible to sleep in, which we do on vacations. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

The amenities of the private in ground pool and hot tub and a short walk to the ocean beach made this vacation perfect for my husband and I with our four kids (ages 5,8,9,12).We loved that the three bedrooms were upstairs so the adults could be on the main level while they slept. We had an incident of intense rain with a following days of gorgeous weather. The pool and hot tub looked like it needed attention so we dropped into the rental office and explained our concern as we had intentions of having pool/hot tub days. We went to the Zoo and when we returned the pool and hot tub had been taken care of. The only problem was that we wanted the hot tub heated and instead the pool had been heated. That left this mama very disappointed. My husband called and explained it to the office with no expectation of anything changing that day since it was already almost 5pm. It was after 5:30pm when a woman pulled up in a truck with a big kid in the front seat. She kindly said she was on the phone with the pool man and was going to try to switch the heat to the hot tub. She was very thorough and checked the hot tub a few times to ensure that it was getting heat. I was so impressed and pleased as I was really looking forward to a relaxing hot tub soak under the stars that night. I got what I wanted thanks to her taking the time after her shift to meet our desire. We made many memories at this home and would love to be able to return again.

Overall wonderful stay/ hot tub heating is misleading.

However, one of the main reasons we chose this house was for the hot tub (listed as $50/ PER DAY to heat) but what they don’t mention is that you have to pay for the ENTIRE stay, even if you only want it heated for ONE day/night. This really upset me bc we didn’t budget an extra almost $350. The pool was still chilly. Now all the positives: great location, great backyard, well kept, clean. Little details: house came with bbq grill (plus bbq tools), umbrellas (for the pool and the picnic table), lots of outdoor seating around the pool. The pool has a nice sized tanning ledge and a max of 5’ deep pool. The garage has a ton of pool floats/toys as well as beach chairs and sand toys you can take to the beach. There is also an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand before you get into the pool or go inside. It’s such a short walk to the beach! The view is wonderful from the 3rd floor (where all 3 bedrooms are located). The master bed and one of the other rooms are very bright. The 3rd room (with the 2 twin beds isn’t as bright, so great for naps or sleeping in. The kitchen has lots of pots, pans. No spices or oil (we left salt & pepper for next guests). There is a coffee machine and a kuerig. There is also a toaster but it needs to be replaced. I think I saw an ice cream machine as well? There is an ice machine in the garage but we didn’t use it bc we don’t know if it’s ever been cleaned. We only saw 2 roaches in the house (which was kind of expected on the beach with palm trees). There are also a ton of games and books in the living room area. Couches seat 6. Table seats 6. Bar seats 4. Porch seats 4. Pool area seats 10+ with all the extra pool chairs in the garage. You will need to buy laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, foil, ziplocks, paper towels. The public grocery is about 20 mins away. We ate at Crabs on the beach and it was the best! On March 12th, the day you made your reservation, we sent you an email with a list of items that we provide. It sounds like that may have been missed. As an industry standard, we provide an initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. It's meant to only get you through a day or two so you don't have to rush out to the store right away. In an effort to make sure our guests know about that we do send out that email with a list of items you might want to bring with you. We certainly didn't want that to be a surprise for you. We are a very transparent company and want to meet our guests expectations and even exceed them if possible. We don't leave spices in the properties for liability reasons. We have no idea what a guest may or may not have put into those spices so leaving any kind of spices in the properties is just not worth the risk. Safety is of the utmost importance to us. We hope this won't detour you from staying with us in the future though. It truly is an industry standard. Pool is great and is across the street from a beach access. Would love to see the queen beds upgraded to king size and better quality. Would also be great to see the window treatments in the rooms with queen beds upgraded to what is in the room with the single beds to cover all windows. Very easy access to the beach. The home was well stocked and the icemaker was a life saver. The pool was beautiful and we enjoyed it throughout our stay; however, it was not cleaned or vacuumed the entire stay. Unfortunately, the bugs, specifically roaches, ruined our visit. We encountered at least 4 very large live roaches. The baseboards were not clean and floor area close to baseboards were dirty, had not been vacuumed. Additionally, fire ants in the driveway made packing up the cars extremely difficult.

The pictures don't show it but there are plenty of chairs, a dining table w/ umbrella and lounge chairs around the pool. There is also an umbrella to put in the pool's shallow end. Great views from both balconies, but that may change a little with a house being built across the street. Access to the beach is a short walk down the road to a public access crossover. Overall it was a great house and we loved the pool since the seaweed was thick while we were there. To make the week even better, we rented a golf cart from Scooter Hut Rentals. Much easier to get around the island in the golf cart than our truck.

Lots of stairs, so for those with any physical limitations, this is not the house for you. Pool is beautiful, but absolutely no shade and umbrella's are not provided. Luckily we had a easy up for our beach time. So bring two!! Watch out for the pantry entry. It is very low and everybody whacked their head at least once during our stay. The views are wonderful from balcony bedrooms and the front porch too. Great location for use of beach, just walk across the street.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a great time with family. We rented two houses, and this one fit us perfectly for the six of us. Lots of stairs, so for those with any physical limitations, this is not the house for you. Pool is beautiful, but absolutely no shade and umbrella's are not provided. Great Vacation Home

Overall our stay was fantastic. The home is beautiful with a great location and views. Perfect for a single-family which was difficult to find in this area. The pool was spectacular and well kept. We did experience some issues even after reporting them to the property manager. We requested the hot tub to be heated when ordering via VRBO and apparently this didn't get relayed to the property manager (yes there is a charge). After we realized this we contacted the manager and they were able to get the heat turned on during our second night and requested it is kept on for our stay. unfortunately, the heat level was set so high it was a health and safety hazard (much higher than 104 degrees). On the third day, we thought maybe the temperature had begun to regulate but unfortunately, it seemed like the heat was just turned off altogether. After giving it some time I contacted the property manager again who was able to get the heat turned back on after several attempts and I also requested the heat be turned to safe levels. Unfortunately when the heat finally did come back on it was again set to unsafe levels and unusable. The next day the heat was once again turned off. This was an annoyance that couldn't be solved throughout my stay which we would have liked to be able to use.

The location is ’s across the street to the sand with very little public traffic on the beach in this area. Feels private. The swimming pool is fantastic. You are also close to the main hub of the town but far enough to enjoy peace and tranquillity when needed. The house feels like a true beach home. Great views from both floors. Two bedrooms look out over the ocean. We have rented many beach houses in Pensacola Beach (and elsewhere) and this is one I can say is truly worth the visit and you get so much for the money.

Great Little Beach House

The location across from the beach provides very easy access and its a few minutes from the downtown area. The pool was great! My only request would be to get a better "inventory" of what the house has...we were scrambling to get hand soap for the bathrooms when we first arrived. Overall it was a great stay and we are talking about coming back again next year.
