This was a beautiful home that was everything we wanted and needed. It was well stocked and communication with the host was top notch. Would definitely stay here again
Pool was very green. House was not clean at all. The back room where people would sleep didn't have a lockable door to the outside. I had guests leave and go home because the house was that bad

This was not the place we had in mind when we booked. The house seems much older now than in the listing. There are cracks around the pool, the waterfall didn’t work. The futons are broken down and not comfortable for guest to sleep on. The beds were comfortable but there isn’t really anywhere for a big group to comfortably sit and hang out. The kitchen is an absolute disaster the ovens were gross and filled with pans as long as more pans shoved in random cabinets. No “normal” dinnerware and EVERY dish we used we had to wash due to everything just feeling sticky. We had to dig in random closets to find pool towels and only one bathroom was stocked with just a few towels. There were 12 of us. The floors appeared clean but seemed sticky to walk on. We also couldn’t get the outside sunroom door to lock or the one in the back bedroom. This place needs a very good cleaning and some work and it could be beautiful. Was definitely disappointed and it makes it worse we paid the price for a high end home! I would not recommend.

We rented this house for a getaway with four families and were disappointed, especially considering the cost of nearly 1,000 per night. The owner was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the condition of the home did not match the listing photos or the price. When we arrived, there weren't enough linens for all the beds, and some bedding had hair on it, so we had to wash the sheets before using them. The kitchen appliances were dirty, the cabinets were greasy, and because the home appears to be lived in when not rented, the cabinets and pantry were already full, leaving very little space for our groceries. The overall cleanliness was below expectations. Floors were sticky, surfaces were covered in fingerprints and grease, and the home appeared overdue for a deep cleaning. Outside, the patio furniture had peeling paint, the patio needed maintenance, and the garage/storage area was cluttered, had a strong odor, and contained mouse droppings. This home has great potential, but it needs a thorough deep cleaning, better maintenance, and to be prepared as a true vacation rental. While we appreciated the owner's kindness, the overall condition did not justify the premium nightly rate, and the listing photos did not accurately reflect the property's current condition.

Family wedding weekend stay
Sam offers a beautiful vacation home perfect for big families! We needed a bigger space for our wedding weekend. This home offered the perfect backdrop for getting ready photos. There was plenty of space in the home for everyone to sleep comfortably. The owner of the home was very accommodating and easy to reach. There are plenty of things to do in the home, it featured a basement with a bar, pool table, foosball table and movie projector with plenty of chairs if you want to watch a movie together. The backyard had plenty of lounging areas and a pool for the summer months. We stayed late October, too cold for the outdoor fun but would return to enjoy the outdoor entertainment as well. Lots of bigger shops near by for convenience. Sam went above and beyond as a host. In the chaos of leaving, my wedding dress was left in the home. Sam made sure we were able to get back into the home to retrieve such a precious item. 10/10 experience overall.

If you have time to pivot, book somewhere else!! We booked when it was a newer listing and while we were nervous about some of the reviews that had come in after, we were reassured by Rose from Evolve that the property would be cleaned, inspected, and ready for us. Check in was weird. In the email from VRBO it said someone would contact us with the instructions but nobody did. We had to reach out to our guest contact, via VRBO, email, and text before we got the information just 2 hrs before we were scheduled to check in. On first glance, the house seemed fine, but it was clear the outside had not been maintained and the photos in the listing were probably old.We decided to make the best of it, cleaned up what we could, but kept we noticing more off things. Aside from just general dirt and grime, there was moldy soap and bathroom products in the bathrooms, a drawer full of dried up dirty rags in the bathrooms, and there was no lock on the sunroom door where several people were meant to sleep. The futons weren’t so much futons as much as couches that could collapse out, but they were not comfortable and I felt bad for my guests. Later on we found dirty dish ware, blood/dirt stains on sheets and comforters, and other signs that the property was not being maintained or cleaned regularly. The cherry on top was receiving a citation notice that the location was in violation of its zoning ordinance and was not being operated legally. It appears this is not the first notice.

I have been planning our family vacations for over 25 years. Unfortunately, this was the worst house we've stayed in. It was not clean. We found a dirty t shirt/towel in a kitchen drawer, lipstick on drinking glasses, smudges on light switches (we cleaned it off), standing dirty water on the bottom of the refrigerator in the garage. Needs to fix things. No ice maker in fridge (4 ice cube trays), garage sink stopped up, upstairs bathroom shower doesn't drain properly, etc. When we arrived there was only 12 bath towels for 15 people. No washcloths or beach towels for pool (we were told there would be). Also no sheets for the 4 futons. Our bed upstairs in one of the bedrooms that had no fitted sheet. Only a top sheet and blanket. I called our contact Sam (who was nice) and told him about not having towels for everyone or sheets for the beds. He dropped off some brand new towels and pillow cases (no sheets) within the hour. My husband found some dirty sheets in the laundry room and did some laundry. This house is only good for 12 people not 16. The futons are about the size of twin beds (two people cannot sleep in them). The pool wasn't clean. We called Sam in the morning and he allowed us to use the machine to help clear it up. Only 2 trash cans (1 of them recycle) and it was full. So had to store trash in the garage. Even though Sam tried, the overall experience was not pleasant. My first time I've ever left a negative review on a house I've rented.

We met Sam, the homeowner, as soon as we arrived at his home. He was warm and kind. Sam was responsive when we requested help with the pool and he made sure to follow-up re: the pool the next day. *This is a nice home that is clearly lived-in.*Photos online are somewhat accurate....but open a drawer, closet or cabinet....*Kitchen cabinets were full and not-so-clean, the ovens were dirty and filled with pans*No space to place food/paper products/etc in the kitchen and we had "stuff" for 10 people.*All of the drawers and cabinets in the kitchen were loaded with random personal items*Bedrooms were clean and had space cleared out in closets and drawers for us to place items for our stay*Bathrooms were also clean but only had paper towels for drying hands....no bath towels*Common areas in the home were clean and the T.V. in the living room is gorgeous with a fabulous picture!*Pool AREA IS SORELY misrepresented in the photos online. The pictures on the VRBO website show a gorgeous clean and fresh pool area. There was only one table umbrella and it needs to be cleaned, the grills were filthy and greasy so we went to the store to buy grill cleaning materials and spent nearly two hours cleaning both grills (I'm sure Sam noticed on the security cameras)*Bar area at pool was filled with clutter falling out of cabinets that don't close and it clearly wasn't "guest ready."*Nice owner....but the property needs some work to be considered a 700/ night high-end stay.
