About this property
St Moritz Timeless Federation Retreat near Coogee
St Moritz is a Federation retreat near The Spot’s dining hub, offering timeless design, modern comfort, and the convenience of on-site parking. Begin your day with coffee in the garden before heading to Coogee Beach—just an 18-minute walk or quick drive—or catching a film at the Ritz Cinema, a short stroll away. Randwick Plaza is also nearby for essentials. Back home, fire up the BBQ, dine alfresco on the covered patio, and let the kids bounce on the trampoline or play in the expansive backyard.
St Moritz welcomes you with a lush front garden framed by manicured hedges and a classic Federation veranda. Step into the spacious living area, where velvet armchairs and deep navy sofas gather around a glowing gas fireplace — a cosy haven for reading, unwinding with a glass of wine, or enjoying a quiet afternoon.
The kitchen is designed for both easy entertaining and everyday convenience. It features a Nespresso machine, gas cooktop, dishwasher, oven, and fridge, along with modern appliances for cooking and baking such as an air fryer, rice cooker, sandwich maker, waffle maker, blender, and NutriBullet.
A cosy timber bench in the eat-in kitchen is perfect for sharing a quick bite or a chat while dinner simmers. The larger sunlit dining area with leafy views invites you to gather for a relaxed meal, seamlessly opening onto the undercover patio and backyard beyond, filling the home with fresh air. Outside, enjoy alfresco dining, fire up the high-end gas BBQ, and let the kids play freely on the lawn with a trampoline tucked into the corner.
Comfortably arranged for short or long stays for families or groups, each bedroom includes built-in wardrobes and calming décor. The primary room offers a king bed and a sunlit window seat; the second features a double bed and a study nook, perfect for quiet work or journaling; and the third has two singles that can be converted to a king on request (at no extra cost)—ideal for children or friends. Two well-appointed bathrooms are provided: one with a bathtub and integrated laundry facilities (washer and dryer included), and another with a walk-in rain shower for a refreshing start or wind-down. A portable cot and high chair are available on request; please advise in your booking which room you would prefer the cot to be placed in.
A private driveway provides off-street parking for one vehicle. For year-round comfort, ceiling fans are fitted in all bedrooms and the living area, plus a powerful portable gas heater that easily warms the sleeping quarters. Children’s books and toys are provided to keep kids entertained.
Please note: a separate studio known as The Stables is located at the rear with private access. The studio can also be rented together with St Moritz for those seeking additional space. If you choose only the main house, the private-access studio may be occupied during your stay. However, the main house and garden remain entirely yours to enjoy in privacy, and you will not need to interact or come into contact with any studio guests.
During your stay, you and your group will have the entire house to yourselves. Please note there is a separate studio at the very rear of the house that may host other guests, but it has its own private access to ensure your comfort and privacy. Please make yourselves at home!
St Moritz sits in the heart of Randwick, where heritage homes meet urban convenience and coastal energy. Just five minutes on foot brings you to The Spot — a lively precinct in Randwick at the intersection of Perouse Road and St Pauls Street — home to local favourites like Umamarin for fresh Thai, woodfired classics at Mammas and Papas Ristorante, French classics at Four Frogs Crêperie, and cocktails with Spanish flair at Del Punto. Catch a film just six minutes away at the historic Ritz Cinema, a beloved Art Deco landmark. For everyday essentials, Randwick Plaza is a 12-minute stroll from your stay. Coogee Beach is only a five-minute drive away, perfect for a swim or to start the breathtaking Coogee to Bondi coastal walk. UNSW is just four minutes by car, and in under ten, you’ll reach Centennial Park, ideal for a morning jog or weekend picnic.
Due to local regulations, we can happily host you for up to 90 nights. Any bookings that exceed this duration will be cancelled by Vrbo.
Please request your preferred bed setup for the third bedroom in advance, or at least one day before check-in. There’s no extra cost for advance requests. Changes requested after check-in incur an $80 fee for linen changes.
