Absolutely beautiful place! The property was stunning, very clean, and the views were amazing. It’s also really close to the boat launch, which was perfect for us. One of our favourite parts was the area by the water where you can sit, relax, and have a fire. Such a peaceful spot and a great place to unwind.This place really checks all the boxes. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The next time we come to Amherstburg, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

We booked this VRBO for a family reunion and brought 12 people. Ally was very accommodating as five of us are children.The back deck was huge with two tables/chairs and a bar overlooking the amazing views of the Detroit river. We had some electrical issues and Ally was more than involved - turned out it was the electric company working next door. The home looks to have been recently updated, so when the bugs came out, there was more than enough space indoors to fit us all with room to spare. We will be back - great experience. Thank you Ally

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Ally’s place. The home is beautiful inside and out, with plenty of amenities, games, and activities to keep kids fully entertained. The open hall and large windows offer stunning waterfront views, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Ally even had Christmas decorations set up, which made our holiday stay extra special.Our kids were constantly engaged—between crafts and the air hockey table in the basement, there was never a dull moment. The place was very clean and well maintained, with great washrooms and an abundance of towels and blankets.Although it was winter and we didn’t get to fully enjoy the outdoor amenities or kayaks, we would absolutely love to return in the summer to experience everything this place has to offer. Overall, we had a truly memorable Christmas stay. Ally was a fantastic host—super accommodating and very responsive.10/10, thank you so much!

Beautiful, roomy, modern home was a pleasure to stay in. Great outdoor space allowed wonderful views of the Detroit River. Spacious deck provided extra space to spread out for our family reunion. Host immediately responsive when oven stopped working and a new stove was delivered the same day!!! Only minor inconvenience was that the file sent with door lock code wouldn't open or download but code received quickly with a phone call. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were spacious & clean and kitchen was well equipped. Recommend 100%!

We had a lovely time; the atmosphere was relaxing, the host responded to questions quickly. The house was comfortable and well prepared. We really enjoyed watching the freighters go by on the Detroit River.

A wonderfully located house! Located right on the river, the expansive deck is perfect for morning coffee or afternoon/evening cocktails. The house is tastefully decorated with comfy beds and great bathrooms/showers. Highly recommend!
