The host was good. The house is cute and clean. Enjoyed the hot tub! However there is a punch list of items that need to be addressed on the house(basic repairs). Hopefully all these items are taken care of-prior to the next guest. Thanks
We really enjoyed our stay here and rounded up to 5 stars because the home is exactly as pictured. It’s a cool shotgun-style house in an up-and-coming neighborhood where we saw lots of people walking dogs, jogging in the mornings, and heading to the coffee shop across the street or the breakfast place a couple doors down (make reservations!). We felt very safe and enjoyed the area.A few small things that would make the stay even better or that future guests may want to know:• There are two coffee makers (a drip pot and a Keurig), but no coffee or filters were provided, so plan to bring your own.• The kitchen had the basics, but no additional cooking staples (oil, spices, foil, spray, etc.), so plan to bring anything needed.• We didn’t end up using the hot tub since we were busy exploring, but we noticed there were only bath towels available. If you plan to use the hot tub, you may want to bring extra towels.• With six people, a few hooks in the bathroom for drying towels or hanging toiletry bags would be really helpful.• The bedrooms only have nightstands for furniture, which is perfectly fine, but a simple luggage rack would make unpacking a little easier than keeping suitcases on the floor.Overall, these are just small tweaks that could make an already nice place feel even more functional for guests. I shared these suggestions with the host and he was very responsive and said he plans to address them, so future guests may already find these improvements in place.
Nice clean place, everything was as advertised. What I don't remember being in the listing, was how awesome the location is. Just a couple doors down from an awesome brunch place, and about a mile from some great breweries and other restaurants.
