We were not aware it was only a basement dwelling and very small. The ceilings were very low, not ideal for tall people like ourselves. We had to duck to avoid hitting our heads on duct work in the basement. Also it stated that it sleeps 4 but then only had linens for 3 people in the bathroom, and only 1 hand towel and no wash clothes. Easy to walk to coffee and other shops in the area. It met our needs for a place to sleep but we spent our morning outside in the patio just to have more space.

As noted in the listing, the suite is a basement accommodation and the lower ceiling areas are disclosed so guests can determine if the space is suitable for their needs. Perfect for our stay. Small place was perfect for us but if you need a bit more living room just be aware it is small. Hit our head on the low roofs a couple of times and then learnt our lesson :) great stay in Vancouver
