About this property
Warriwul Cottage - Spacious cottage in Berry
Warriwul Cottage is a spacious 2 bedroom cottage surrounded by tranquil gardens and close to the heart of Berry.
An easy 25-minute walk or 2-minute drive from Berry town centre along beautiful tree-lined Kangaroo Valley Road, this cottage is sure to surprise and delight.
Set in the grounds of a former dairy, the landscaped gardens, birdlife and resident echidnas will welcome you to the front door. Private and spacious, this charming sanctuary will offer a genuine retreat providing all the peace and relaxation you could hope for.
Once inside, the soaring ceilings and light-filled rooms including open-planned living area, oversized bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom, all lovingly collated with a collection of vintage décor create a cosy and comfortable ambiance.
Start the day with a cuppa on the front verandah and enjoy the view of the flowering gum tree, conifer hedge and authentic gyspy wagon nestling under the eucalypts. End with a BBQ or simply bask in the sunlight on the rear deck overlooking the native gardens. Either way enjoy the sights and sounds of the many and varied bird visitors.
Indoors, unwind with a wine in front of the slow combustion fireplace or grab a book or boardgame from the library, but don’t forget when night falls to go outside and look up. Luxurious linens and lush bathroom products will leave you feeling pampered and well rested in one of two king beds.
Locally made produce, Twinings teas and Nespresso coffee are yours to enjoy before hitting the charming township where you can wander amongst the myriad of restaurants, cafes, pubs, galleries, craft, fashion and homewares stores that make Berry such a coveted destination.

Thank you for the feedback! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed your stay in our lovely converted barn. It's great to know that you found the core amenities comfortable and appreciated the easy walk into town. We hope to welcome you back soon!
We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautifully appointed property. Incredibly comfortable furnishing and thoughtful touches made our time very special. So close to Berry, but also far from crowds, we loved waking up to the birdsong in the trees. Just divine.
We just spent 3 fantastic nights at Warriwul. The cottage is just beautiful and only a short trip into town. Warriwul is beautifully decked out and that wood fire just sets it off and had us toasty warm in minutes. Thanks once again. We'll be back.
Lovely, quiet and well appointed cottage close to town. There was everything we needed including milk, tea, coffee and jams which is very appreciated. Good supply of cooking equipment, oil, salt and pepper. The cottage is closer to the main house than I had expected but was very private and quiet.Overall, very good and we had a great weekend but were a little disappointed with a few things given the price of the property. The property doesnt get much sunlight and is quite dark inside even with all the curtains open and lights on, which differs from the lovely bright pictures online. The furniture- whilst it looks great in the pictures- just isnt comfortable which made it hard to achieve the relaxing weekend in front of a fire that we were hoping for. This includes the beds, one was very squeaky and so we opted for the other which was way too soft, sinking in the middle somewhat. There wasnt enough firewood and no firestarters provided for the two nights we stayed so we had to source for ourselves which is a bit annoying for a short stay. The water pressure isnt great in the shower but to be expected given the location.
