The house was great and in a nice location. The only thing we didn’t realize when booking is that it’s through a realtor so you have to sign a rental agreement, send it to them, go to their office to get the keys, check in and check out. That’s not a bad thing but important to realize you have to make sure you’re able to be there during their business hours.

Our family of five plus our dog stayed for a long weekend. No problems with WiFi, TV or A/C that were noted on some of the other reviews. Check in was easy and we appreciated that it was at 12! We rented a golf cart and had it delivered. Plenty of parking, the downstairs area was nice for organizing beach things and the shower was perfect. Fenced yard worked great for our pet. Kitchen was well labeled and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy, towels and linens were provided. We enjoyed beach time, playing games and family time on the porch. This was a great rental for us - would definitely recommend!

Fun in the sun!

Cobb realtors did an amazing job of greeting us and tending to our needs. This house has it all. We spent the majority of our time on the beach or porch deck. Everything in the kitchen is labeled on where it is supposed to be. The beds are very comfortable2 1/2 baths are a plusLots of quality towelsAdvice-Rent a golf car..it will be easier going back and forth from the beach to the house.. Bring extra: paper towels,toilet paper, trash bags, dish and laundry pods. All these things are provided, but if you have a large family, you tend to use up a lot of supplies.

Beautiful family home

We absolutely loved our time at Bolivar Peninsula! Our home away from home was gorgeous and has so many amenities. Games to keep the kids entertained, nice yard, and easily access to the beach with our ATV abs rented golf cart. The home was tidy, but the bed covering and couch could stand a deep clean. Overall, everything was nice.

Our Beach House Experience

We really enjoyed this beach house. There were some cleanliness issues but nothing that was terrible in our eyes or held us back from enjoying the house. It would have been nice if the ice maker in the refrigerator worked. The beds were super comfortable. We would definitely stay in this beach rental again.

The home was great. Very well equipped. They could use a new cleaning service.

The property is nice. Great location. They need to hire a better cleaning service. Dishes were left in dishwasher, old coffee grounds and the floor was sticky.

Crystal beach

Property was amazingly clean and better than in pictures . Our stay was compromised due to poor weather conditions and we lost Internet for the entire stay . Could not go to the beach due to the rain and cranky teens with out Internet ! We did not stay long enough to experience the property while these external factors could be rectified . Property managers were prompt . It also seems to be a very safe neighborhood with close beach access !

Great house

This house is very clean, updated, and sleeps a lot of people. It does not have beach access, so you have to walk several blocks, or rent a golf cart if you don’t want to drive your vehicle to the beach. The closest beach access road isn’t far, but you have to leave the neighborhood. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans/dishes/utensils, but there were minimal other supplies in the home-only 2 laundry pods, 3 dishwasher pods, 2 trash bags, and we had no paper towels upon arrival, so be sure to bring your own.

Beautiful Stay Near the Beach

This was our second time to stay in this home during Thanksgiving week. The property manager was incredibly communicative. The house was beautiful and very clean, and we could tell the owners have made a number of improvements to the home since last year, from decor to supplies throughout. (Love the new charcoal grill!) We literally had everything we needed for a quiet family stay. The kitchen is very well stocked and there were plenty of beds for everyone. Teenagers love the bunk room. Sheets and towels were provided and the washer and dryer were great to have as well. The home is about 2.5 blocks to the beach, or roughly a 10 minute walk. We splurged and rented a golf cart for the week. This made transporting the family back and forth to the beach a breeze and the kids loved it. The beach itself was nice, as far as Texas beaches go, with countless shells to collect. Our area of the beach was not crowded at all, which we also appreciated. Some minor issues - - An exterminator must have visited just before our stay as there were quite a few dead ants in the main bathroom and we couldn't find a dustpan to easily sweep them up. We'd rather have dead bugs than live ones, so thank you! - Despite the NO SMOKING signs, the house did have a lingering cigarette smell. We noticed this much more when unpacking from the trip than we did when we were there. - Heads up that for those with early bed times that every bedroom is connected to the main living area and the sound in the living area carries to all rooms. Sorry kids :). - There are no window coverings for several port windows and a glass bedroom door to the outside, so plan to wake up with the sun. More time at the beach for all! Nothing in the list above kept us from having another fantastic stay here. We would absolutely return, and we would happily recommend this home to anyone. Thanks to the Vacasa team and the home owners for helping to make our holiday week so special.
