~ The Space ~

Tide is mid-century modern in spirit - warm woods, clean lines, soft hues and natural textures - but still feels cosy, soulful and deeply welcoming. Thoughtful design, without the fuss.
A generous open-plan living, dining and kitchen space made for grazing boards, card games, morning sunlight and wine-fuelled dinners
Three tranquil king bedrooms, each styled as its own little retreat
Two luxurious moody bathrooms with walk-in showers and a boutique-stay feel
Laundry for sandy towels and beachwear. Soak away your worries in the luxurious bath.
Outdoor entertaining area perfect for slow afternoons and balmy summer nights
Outdoor shower - because nothing beats a rinse under the sky after a salty swim
There’s a softness to this home - a feeling that everything has been placed with intention, creating a space that’s calming from the moment you arrive. Designed for that memorable getaway.

~ The Location ~

You’re in one of the most treasured corners of the Fleurieu Peninsula - a region overflowing with big skies, fresh produce, world-class wine, wild coastline and that earthy, grounding energy the Fleurieu is loved for.

Aldinga Beach
Just a few houses away. Calm tides, wide shores, pastel sunsets - the kind of beach that becomes part of your daily rhythm.

The Esplanade
Turn left for a gorgeous and easy clifftop walk toward Pearl Restaurant.
Turn right past Breeze Café, following the curve of the coast all the way to the iconic Star of Greece and the golden cliffs of Port Willunga.

McLaren Vale Wine Region
Only minutes from Tide - rolling vineyards, olive groves, cellar doors, long lunches and boutique winemakers waiting to be discovered. Whether you’re after a well-known winery or a tiny family-run gem down a gravel road, you’ll find it here.

Willunga Farmers Market
A Saturday morning essential. Fresh pastries, seasonal produce, flowers, honey, cheeses, hand-made treats - a colourful, community-filled gathering that feels like the heartbeat of the region.

Aldinga Conservation Park
Just around the corner - coastal scrub, bird calls, kangaroos and (if you’re lucky) an echidna or two.

Everything about this pocket of the Fleurieu invites you to slow down and savour.

~ The Story ~

`Tide` is a beautiful brand new build, but its foundations are rich with family history.
It sits beside the family’s original beach shack - a place overflowing with decades of summer holidays, sandy feet, shared meals, laughter and the kind of memories that mould who you are. Tide now stands where the backyard once was, carrying that same sense of nostalgia and soul into a fresh, modern space.
The home was built with intention - a contemporary escape, deeply rooted in warmth, connection and the simple joy of being near the sea and being `together`.

~ Who Tide is perfect for ~

Couples seeking a peaceful, stylish retreat
Friends who love equal comfort (three kings = harmony restored)
Families (especially with teens who want space and ease)
City escapers craving coastline, good food and unhurried days
Anyone who adores thoughtful design and soulful coastal living

Aldinga Beach is one of South Australia’s most loved coastal gems — a place where days move a little slower and life revolves around sun, sea and simple pleasures. With its wide sandy shoreline, iconic coastal cliffs and breathtaking sunsets, it offers the perfect balance of relaxed beach living and easy access to world-class food, wine and nature.

Wake to salty air and the sound of waves, spend mornings walking the Esplanade or swimming in the calm, clear waters, and enjoy long afternoons exploring the region. The beach is famously drive-on, making it ideal for families, fishing enthusiasts and sunset picnics straight from the boot of the car.

Just minutes inland lies the heart of McLaren Vale wine country, home to celebrated cellar doors, family-friendly wineries, local breweries and some of South Australia’s best dining. Whether you’re sipping Shiraz at a boutique vineyard, browsing the Willunga Farmers Market, or enjoying a long lunch at a coastal restaurant, everything feels effortlessly close.

Aldinga Beach is also wonderfully family-friendly, with playgrounds, bike paths, coastal trails and plenty of space to roam. For nature lovers, nearby conservation parks and cliff-top walks offer stunning views and a sense of escape, while surfers, swimmers and paddle-boarders are drawn to the ever-changing coastline.

What truly sets Aldinga apart is its laid-back, welcoming community — relaxed, unpretentious and deeply connected to the outdoors. It’s a place where barefoot afternoons turn into golden evenings, and visitors often leave already planning their return.

Aldinga Beach is easy to navigate and best enjoyed at a relaxed pace. Many local highlights — including the beach, coastal walking paths, playgrounds and cafés — are within easy walking distance, making it simple to leave the car behind and soak up the seaside atmosphere.

For exploring further afield, having a car is recommended. The region is well connected by road, allowing effortless access to nearby gems such as Port Willunga, Silver Sands, Sellicks Beach and the rolling vineyards of McLaren Vale, all just a short drive away. Scenic coastal drives and winery-hopping routes are part of the experience here.

Public transport is available, with bus services connecting Aldinga Beach to surrounding suburbs and local hubs, though services can be limited — particularly in the evenings and on weekends. Taxis and rideshare services are also available, though wait times may vary in peak holiday periods.

Cycling is popular in the area, with quiet streets and coastal paths ideal for a leisurely ride, while walking along the Esplanade at sunrise or sunset is a favourite way to explore locally.

Whether you’re heading out for a beach day, a winery lunch or a sunset dinner by the sea, getting around Aldinga Beach is simple, scenic and stress-free. Please let us know if you need our locals list of private drivers and tours!
