About this property

Simple old-style lightly scruffy beach unit near the bush and sea. Pets welcome.

A small basic 70's ground - level unit in a small two story block. A functional space for yourselves and pets to use as a base for adventures outside in the local landscape and the small city of Wollongong. Five minutes walk to beaches, cafes, grocery and bottle shop and five minutes drive to large supermarkets and restaurants . 13 minutes walk. 3 minute drive to all day off-leash beach and beach-side tracks Approximately 45 minutes or less, drive to the Royal National Park and other stunning areas of the Illawarra bushlands for exploring.
There is a non-luxury quirky 70's bathroom with a bath that doesn't work and a shower that does and a basic kitchen with a stove, small fridge and a separate small freezer. Fans in all rooms, A TV that gets free to air and has a dvd player is set up in the lounge area. There is also a screen and dvd player in bedroom 1. Assorted dvds - films, some series to watch and some board games are available.
No internet on (as yet ) and PLEASE NOTE, inside the flat is a bit of a dead zone when it comes to accessing mobile date. The access to hot-spotting is only sporadic for OPTUS users and for Telstra users consistently unavailable. Previous guests have pre-down loaded content to their devices before arrival or opted for reading books, or watching dvd's for indoor entertainment. Texting and phone calls work fine within the flat.

As listed - basic but has most everything you need. Quirky little unit with some nice touches; fresh flowers and decent towels. Host was super accommodating and helpful. Fabulous for pets with the proximity to local dog friendly beaches etc. Not luxury but ideal location for families with pets and who want to be near the beach. Thanks for everything Jo

Jo was wonderfully kind and easy to communicate with. The little unit is not fancy but is beautifully filled with art and colourful fabrics,quirky decor,lovely white curtains that float in the breeze...simple but useful stove top microwave, coffee pots etc.

Joanna was a very personable host and very responsive.The unit was perfect for our needs.It sleeps 5 comfortably.There's a reserved parking spot at the rear.The house is well stocked with essentials and includes a washing machine.I had an Optus number for the time I was in Australia and there were no issues connecting to the Internet and hotspot.The location is fantastic, it's a 6 minute walk to the beach, and a 3 minute walk to a local grocery store, coffee shop, butcher, and fish and chips.
