Rooms are very clean. Bathroom is very well designed and has a big rain shower and a flexible one. The balcony allows to view the gulf. Beach is endless. Perfect location for winter escape!
Great location and very friendly owners at the condos. The beach is great and lots of shark teeth to find. Condo was absolutely perfect for my wife and I.
We had a wonderful stay. The beach was uncrowded. Everyone we met including neighbors on either side of our rental unit where very friendly and welcoming. We have already rebooked for next year!
We loved everything about our stay. Communication was great snd kitchen was stocked better than any place we have stayed. Short walk to the beach was awesome.
This was an excellent property and we had a great stay. This is a very nice condo just steps from the beach and a short walk to the pool. We also found some beach chairs and items in the laundry room for our use. This is a great location and we would love to stay here again in the future
We enjoyed our stay at Tamarind Condo on Manasota Key. The Condo is just the right size for two &
has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The new flooring is great & easy to
keep clean!
Hope to come back!
We loved our stay at Tamarind. Our Condo was great. Everything we needed was in the Condo. Convenient to many restaurants in walking distance & the beaches are fabulous! Our host Jolita was great to communicate with. Looking forward to next January!!
Very clean, nice balcony, comfortable bed, great shower. A little put off by being asked to wash towels before we left, considering the laundry was not inside unit and machines were coin fed. Really?

Thank you for the review. This issue was promptly discussed with management company. End of stay cleaning service includes: washing towels and bedding from night before departure and includes cleaning all unit. Guests are responsible to wash towels and bedding during their prolonged stay as they would wash them at home. Coin laundry is mentioned in condo description on Vrbo site. I hope it helps our future guests.
We stayed at this unit for three weeks earlier in the year without any problems. Unfortunately, this time when we arrived, the unit was uncomfortably warm & humid and we were unable to adjust the temperature. We did not realized the AC unit was not working. So we reached out to the owner to express our concern with the temperature and to request it be set lower at least at night as we could not sleep. We were met with a response that 75° is the recommended temperature for a condo in Florida. Her own instructions posted above the thermostat stated how to adjust the temperature and to keep the unit at 75° “anything below 75° you would be charged extra for electricity usage,” (which we would have been glad to pay). The welcome book on the counter by Island Attitude Realty also stated that you could “set the temperature to suit your needs”. On the third day, the hot water went out. Once again, we reached out to the owner who quickly had the issue resolved. It was found that the AC unit had frozen coils that were dripping on the hot water tank which caused it to go out. We ended up without AC for 5 days and without hot water for 3 days and we were not upset and totally understanding that things happen. The disappointing part of all this is that the owner is now trying to keep our deposit to cover half of the repair costs that are clearly not our responsibility. Unfortunately, her course of action has forced us to reach out to VRBO to resolve the matter.

This is our first complaint on Vrbo site. We personally visit our property a few times per year to make sure that everything is in order for our guests arrival including updating constantly. We also have guests returning yearly and booking 2 years ahead. We do ask our guests to follow condo rules though. It appears that the guest did not follow written rules on wall above the thermostat explaining how to use AC unit and the guest tried to cool the condo excessively - this caused AC coils to freeze and flood the water heater that is below; this caused damage to water heater. The issue was resolved in 3 days after defrosting the AC unit thanks to emergency services. Some statements in the review are not true and may affect our reputation. Examples: AC was working properly as it was serviced 1 month earlier. We have had guest staying in condo one week earlier without any complains. We recommended energy efficient temperatures 77F when in condo and 80F when away ( phone conversation). I have communicated with guest that cooling below 75F will make AC run all the time and may cause damage to AC unit. The guest never offered to pay extra for increased energy use. Island Attitude does not rent out this condo but I do through Vrbo. This guest signed condo rules agreement upon renting, which states that they are responsible to pay for damages to property. This is first time we have ever asked for part of damage deposit and we have payed almost half of it. Thank you Vrbo for letting us to respond to this complaint.
