We enjoyed the safe, quiet gated Community. It was a great location for kids to ride bikes, fish, swim, play pickleball. The beach was pretty crowded during our spring break trip. We visited the T.H. Stone Memorial state park up the road and that was AMAZING! Much quieter beaches and the dunes were truly stunning. As for the house itself, my biggest complaint was the smell of wet dog in the entryway, it hit hard every time we walked in. The house was clean, (except the pull out couch in the living room was sandy when we opened it up.) kitchen had bare minimum, really needed more silverware, flipper/spatula, cutting board, Tupperware for left overs, no air fryer, etc…. Master bedroom pillows are really stiff. It would have been great if they provided beach chairs and an umbrella, but you have to rent that separately from another company. The washer dryer were fantastic, huge and new!! We got a good price on the rental and had a good time!

Thank you for your 4‑star review. I’m glad you enjoyed the safe, quiet community, convenient location for kids, and T.H. Stone Memorial State Park — and that the washer/dryer and value worked well for you. I’m sorry about the wet-dog smell in the entryway and the sandy pullout couch. I’ve passed these concerns to housekeeping and the owner so we can deep-clean and address the odor and the couch. I’ll also review the kitchen inventory and work on adding more silverware, a spatula/flipper, a cutting board, and Tupperware; we’ll evaluate pillow options in the master as well. Beach chairs and umbrellas are handled by a local rental company, but I’ll make the listing clearer about that. If you’d like to share any other details or photos, please message us through Vrbo and we’ll follow up. We hope to host you again.
