Amazing spot and cabin! Very quiet. We enjoyed kayaking on this beautiful lake with lots of wildlife (we saw Beavers, Northern Flickers, Comon Mergansers, turtles and more!). The brasero was very welcome for those September nights. We loved hanging out in the living room with its windows on all sides and also on the dock in the morning. The cabin is well equipped for lots of activities and the decorations is really cute! The communication was smooth and the host reactive. We only regret not booking a longer stay!
This was a lovely place— even in August the lack of air conditioning was no issue. The forests were beautiful and it was so quiet that the loudest noises were the morning loons. Everything you could hope for, down to life jackets for the boats. The side road down to the grass, while slightly steep in spots, was navigable by my mom with her walker (with a bit of help) so she was able to get into the water and swim! The grocery in town has all the ingredients you’d ever want and the town farmers market on Saturday morning was awesome!
