This property and location was idea for our stay in Virginia. House clean view spectacular and everything we needed was there or not too far away. Will stay here again.

Our family of 7 (2 adults and 5 kids) went for a mini vacation for end of school year. We had a blast. Between the games down stairs, the canoe and kayaks and having a nice fire out area at night. Our kids 17,15,15,3 and 1 all had fun with the games and the beach area. It was quiet, the neighbors were nice and talkative. Dollar general was only 10 minutes away, we instacarted some other items and it was easy. The host was great at answering any questions and even helped us get a broom out of the cleaning closet that was locked through a phone call. Host was very nice and communicative. Highly recommend the view of the water is amazing. We didn't bring water shoes but highly recommend them, the water is a little slimy on the bottom. It is shallow for a while and can go out a decent distance. We also caught lots of jelly fish near the little beach, crabs and little fish. One recommendation would to clean up the beach area a little bit bigger there's a path to the water but the tall grass on the sand would make it even better. But that's also were the crabs like to hide so keep some off the grass off to the sides. We will book again. Thanks for everything

Thank you for being such amazing guests and leaving the house in great condition. Unfortunately, the grasses along the shoreline are protected by the Chesapeake Preservation Act. The short pathway to the bay is perfect to launch the kayaks and canoe. Please come back and visit anytime!
