A taste of the real Portuguese Algarve

A relaxing few days in the Portuguese countryside not far from the coastal village of Fuzeta. Beautiful views over the orchard looking down to the sea. The house is nicely decorated and well equipped. I am sure we will return…

Breathe out

A very nice place to stay and relax. A typical house, nicley done. Luckily there was a heater as it was march and the house still very cold. Ideal for later in spring and summer! Well equipped kitchen but not a lot of space for working in it, specially if you’re more than just a couple! We had oranges from the trees in the garden and at the same time the delicious smell of the flowers!

Het is een leuk gerestaureerd huis wat met name in de zomer tot zijn recht komt. We zijn er in januari en februari geweest tijdens een uitzonderlijk natte en stormachtige periode. Het verblijf in het huis is dan niet plezierig. De woonkamer is klein en donker. De houtkachel staat in een gangetje gescheiden van de woonkamer. De keuken is een aparte ruimte buiten. In deze tijd ook heel somber. Het overdekte terras lekte overvloedig waardoor we steeds een natte viezige keukenvloer hadden. Eten in de keuken is onplezierig door de spartaanse uitrusting en de kale verlichting. Een klein raam geeft uitzicht op de tuin. Om somber van te worden. De slaapkamers zijn heel klein en met een niet soepel lijf niet makkelijk te gebruiken omdat je in twee van de drie gevallen moeilijk in het bed kan komen. Door het uitzonderlijk slechte weer viel dit alles zwaar. Echter, op de enkele mooie dagen konden we op het heerlijk warme onoverdekte buitenterras zitten, naar de sinaasappeltuin kijken en in de verte de zee zien. Het dan zonovergoten uitzicht was een feest ook omdat het terras vrij beschut ligt. Het huis is in lente en zomer waarschijnlijk een feest als je de kleine binnenruimten minder nodig hebt. De eigenaar handelde snel en adequaat op onze vragen.De Nederlandse buren zijn bijzonder aardig.

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Flor de Laranjeira ist ein kleines Naturparadies, rundum Obstbäume...und der tolle Blick....alles so liebevoll gestaltet und noch schöner wie auf den Fotos.Wir haben hier so gut geschlafen wie seit Jahren nicht!!!Simone war immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt für alle, die Ruhe und Erholung suchen und die Strände der Ostalgarve lieben. Ein Auto ist (wie fast überall an der Algarve) zwingend erforderlich. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Bars und Cafes sind in 10 Minuten leicht erreichbar. Für kühlere Tage gibt es Heizkörper und einen Holzofen, eine tolle Wärme und so schön zu geniessen. Wir haben uns wie im kleinen Paradies gefühlt, frische Orangen aus dem Garten, die Ruhe, die Natur und die tollen Terrassen auf dem Grundstück, wir waren sehr zufrieden. Wir waren 6 Nächte dort und haben mit dem Mietwagen die Algarve erkundet. Zwischendurch immer wieder Entspannungstage in der Flor de Laranjeira. Wir kommen wieder!

Het is een mooi opgeknapt boerderijtje. Als het mooi weer is, is dit een geweldig onderkomen met buiten veel gezellige plekken om te zitten. Het is ook mooi gelegen in een sinaasappelboomgaard. Met uitzicht op zee. De buren zijn heel aardige en behulpzame mensen met 2 lieve honden. Zij hebben ons ook vriendelijk ontvangen bij aankomst. De badkamers zijn mooi ingericht en de douche is heerlijk. De slaapkamer is klein maar gezellig en het bed is zeer comfortabel. De keuken is ruim. Echter, als het geen zonnig weer is (wij hadden nog al eens regen) dan is dit geen fijne plek. Het is dan heel donker binnen en ook klein. Als het regent of koud is, is het niet prettig om naar de keuken te gaan, omdat dit alleen via buiten kan.. De overkapping lekt waardoor je over plassen heen moet springen en de keuken is niet goed warm te krijgen, waardoor het niet leuk is om te koken. Kortom, het is een mooi weer onderkomen. Een duidelijker routebeschrijving om er te komen, zou prettig zijn.

Das Haus hat einen sanierungsbedürftigen Eindruck auf uns gemacht! Fliesen im Schwellenbereich kaputt,Putz und Farbe im Leibungsbereich fielen ab ! Da kein Handlauf im Eingangsbereich vorhanden war hatte man immer blaue Finger von der Leibungsfarbe (Keine Fassadenfarbe)! Die Holzfenster/Türen haben alle geklemmt und waren kaum zu verschließen.Alle WC-Deckel waren sehr loose! Und das schärfste war das benutzte (VOLLGEKACKTE !!! ) WC-Papier mußte man extra sammeln (ekelig!) und im Müllcontainer 300m entfernt extra entsorgen !!! Unsere Nachbarn war ein sehr nettes holl.Rentnerehepaar! Sie waren sehr hilfsbereit .Schlafen war auch nur bedingt möglich! Der Nachbar hatte 2 Hunde an der langen Kette ,die jeden Abend gekläfft haben,und morgens ab 4:30 Uhr schlafen unmöglich gemacht haben.Deutsches TV war nicht eingestellt,da hat uns der holl. Nachbar geholfen! Der Parkplatz warin keinster Weise befestigt und der Weg zum Ferienhaus eine Zumutung (sehr schlecht gepflastert und überhaupt nicht freigeschnitten!!!). Zum Glück durften wir bei unsern holl.Nachbarn parken. FAZIT:Das Haus ist nichts für gehändicapte Menschen,Menschen über 60 und kleinen Kindern !!! Ein alleinstehendes HAUS ist es auch nicht.Und unter ökologischen Maßgaben wurde das Haus auch nicht sarniert !!! Man könnte sagen:Alle AUSSAGEN im Inserat zu diesem Haus entsprechen Nicht der Wahrheit. Uwe Timm Meister & Restaurator im Tischlerhandwerk

Haben eine Woche in der Osterzeit mit der Familie hier verbracht. Die Unterkunft war ganz o.k.; ein paar Anmerkungen: - Die Unterkunft ist schön renoviert und gepflegt.- Die Unterkunft besteht aus 4 Teilen: Küche, eines der Badezimmer und eins der Schlafzimmer haben (nur) einen separaten Zugang von außen und sind nicht mit der Hauptwohnung verbunden.- Die Schlafgelegenheiten sind etwas eingeschränkt und somit ist die Unterkunft aus unserer Sicht nicht wirklich für mehr als 3-4 Personen nutzbar. Das separate Zimmer mit eigenem Zugang von außen und dem größten Bett hat kein Fenster, das Bett steht seitlich an der Wand und ist somit eher nur für 1 Person nutzbar. Das Elternschlafzimmer ist ein Durchgangszimmer. Das 3. Schlafzimmer hat ein eher kleines Bett und somit können nur jüngeren Kindern zu 2 hier schlafen.- Auf dem Grundstück ist man nicht allein, es gibt einen direkten Nachbarn (Dauermieter).- Verschiedene Hunde laufen auf dem Grundstück frei herum, unter anderem 2 Hunde der direkten Nachbarn. Diese sind allerdings friedlich und kinderlieb.Auch wenn die Unterkunft alles in allem o.k. war, empfanden wir einige der Punkte doch als einschränkend und entsprachen nicht dem Eindruck den das Inserat erzeugt, weswegen wir leider keine Top-Bewertung abgeben können.

Wohnen auf dem Lande

Wir waren begeistert vom Haus und vom Grundstück. Man sollte ein Natur und Tierliebhaber sein. Im Haus ist alles was man braucht .Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, viele Steckdosen,Kamin.Besuch kommt auch vorbei die Hunde aus der Nachbarschaft

Ruhe an der Algarve

Ein sehr nettesm, sehr hübsch renoviertes Bauernhaus in einer ruhigen Lage, mitten in Obstbäumen mit Blick über die Landschaft bis zum Meer. Das Haus läd ein, sich viel im Freien aufzuhalten. Es hat eine sehr geschützte Eckbank mit Tisch, so dass es viel Spaß macht, viel dort viel Zeit zu verbringen. Unser Aufenthalt war sehr entspannt.

Séjour très agréable. La maison est très bien située au calme et proche de tout. Décorée avec goût et pleins de petites attentions. Les terrasses sont très agréables et la vue sur les magnifiques arbres est idéal après une journée à la plage. Tout était parfait!

Idyllisches Refugium

Sehr schönes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit einer tollen Ausstattung und grossem gepflegten Garten mit Orangenbäumen und sehr schönem Freisitz mit Blick auf das Meer am Horizont. Im Hochsommer sehr warm, vor allem nachts ohne Klimaanlage, aber Ventilatoren sind vorhanden. Aussendusche zum Erfrischen vorhanden, aber kein Pool. Das Meer ist in ca. 10-15 min mit dem Auto erreichbar. Sehr nette, hilfsbereite Nachbarn mit lieben Hunden und sehr unkomplizierte, hilfsbereite Eigentümer. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer, empfehlenswerter Aufenthalt!

Un moment très convivial durant notre vacance

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour dans cette location. La disposition de la cuisine et le jardin favorisent la vie à l’extérieur. Nous avons pris tous nos repas dans le jardin . Nous recommandons cette location aux personnes qui n’apprécient pas se retrouver dans des lieux touristiques.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft, toll zum Entspannen!

Eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit drei separaten Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern. Ein riesiger Garten mit Orangen- und Zitronenbäumen, Palmen und Oliven, ideal für Kinder. Auch super gelegen, man ist mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten bspw. in Fuseta oder Tavira. Direkt nebenan/mit auf dem Gelände wohnt ein sehr nettes (holländisches) Pärchen, aber wir empfanden das als keinesfalls störend, man war trotzdem für sich. Wir haben uns einfach nur wohl gefühlt...

Funky but wonderful property

Great location; clean; well equipped; great caretakers (Jos and Peggy); lots of oranges to be had out of the orange grove. Two recommendations. Rotate the bed so the one person doesn’t have to climb over the other to get in- or- out. Put a proper king sized blanket on the bed rather than two; twin and single.

Estadia na casa Sol

Gostámos muito de estar nesta casa. É uma casinha no campo, com espaços exteriores fantásticos, que permitiram usufruir da natureza envolvente em pleno silêncio. Também se encontra perto de boas praias. A casa estava bem cuidada e com ótima higiene. Gostaríamos de voltar no futuro.

A casa é espetacular para passarmos umas férias tranquilas junto da natureza. Tem tudo o que é necessário para se poder desfrutar das refeições ao ar livre e várias áreas de lazer dentro da propriedade. Schöne Zeit in Fuseta

Wir haben eine sehr angenehme Zeit in Flor de Laranjeira verbracht. Das Haus war sauber und hatte alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigt. Die Außenplätze bieten abwechselnd Sonne und Schatten, man findet immer ein angenehmes Plätzchen. Auch in der Küche ist alles vorhanden, alles in allem also ein wunderbarer Ort für einen erholsamen Urlaub!

Eine echte Entdeckung

Wir verbrachten 5 Tage in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichten und mit seinen vielen Zimmern und dem Garten sehr großzügig. Wir waren 4 Personen (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) und es gab für jeden einen Lieblingsplatz, die Liegen hinterm Haus, der große Tisch auf der Terrasse oder die tolle Küche in einem extra Haus mit Blick auf das Meer. Simone war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und bei Ankunft und Abreise vor Ort. Auch die unmittelbaren Nachbarn waren sehr freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen - die zahlreichen Hunde der Nachbarschaft, die leider meistens nachts lautstark aktiv waren. Aber das ist für uns kein Grund nicht nächstes Jahr wiederzukommen. Die Pläne sind schon in Arbeit... Sehr empfehlenswertes Haus.
