We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the house was, Our host answered questions within a short period of time, couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, we were attending a family wedding and had so much room to get ready , we absolutely loved the house and our host was wonderful.

The house was perfect for my family and I. My daughter is 1 1/2 and there was toys for her to play with, and space for her to play! We came into town to see the fall colors and the house was close enough to houghton that we could just run back if we needed too! Would definitely stay here again if we come back into the area!

Very nice house, lots of room. Well stocked with linens.Kitchen had everything needed for cooking in, including basic spices, which I appreciate so we didn't have to pack along nor go out to buy once we arrived. Highly recommend.

What a great place!We were here to do some ohv trail riding and from the start what a great place, easy in and out of the property pulling trailers with the circle driveway. Large kitchen with the extras to help get started like coffee, extra napkins, spices, the things you might miss to bring along. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms had the extras too like soap and shampoo.I’ve been in many short term rentals and this one is well thought out !Thank you for sharing, and I highly recommend this property .

Our stay was fantastic! Beautiful home, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, having access to the attached garage was a huge bonus since there was a decent amount of snow, freezing rain and ice throughout our stay. Looking forward to our stay here in the fall!

Everything was beautifully done and as pictured/described. Kitchen was fully stocked including spices, cookware, children's dishes, ziplocs & aluminum foil. Lots of firewood available for the bonfire pit and the kids constantly used the swing set. I loved that there were spare soft throw blankets in the living room, as I noticed many rentals do not. Quiet & peaceful area. Thanks for letting us stay!

The host was responsible well prepared for guests. Expectations were clear and there was definitely plenty of space for my family. Being a first time summer visitor up north, I'd say the property was in an excellent location for sites and proximity to the college. If it didn't rain, we probably would've made use of the fire pit outdoors. I had a great stay would definitely recommend and repeat.

This home has had some renovation work done in the kitchen, living room, and bathrooms. The hallway to the bedrooms is where things took a decidedly unhappy turn. Less than comfortable mattresses placed on metal cot frames (?), well worn linens, holes punched in perhaps the original hollow core luan doors, and black staining on one of the bedroom’s mismatched carpet detracted greatly from the effort given to the rest of the home.The property presents much better on-line than in person.

Very cosy and warm home in this very cold winter. Plenty of pots and pans, dishes and bowls for our cooking needs since we mostly ate in while we stayed. Beds were all very comfortable. Home was very clean and spacious.

A beautiful home with a well-stocked kitchen and more than enough space for our group of 4 adults. It was clean and quiet - and the hosts were very responsive. We enjoyed watching the wildlife in the backyard, enjoyed a bonfire, and were in a nice proximity to Houghton and Hancock.

The house was in a perfect location. Just minutes from town but tucked away where you felt you didn’t have neighbors. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed including plenty of space for all of us. Fire pit was enjoyable and the sauna is a great bonus!
