About this property

Alpine Outlook | Newly-Constructed Home with Seclusion & Sweeping Mountain Views!

Achieve true relaxation at Alpine Outlook-a gorgeous, newly constructed cabin that offers long-range mountain views from an elevation of 3,500 ft. and stunning details within the home that speak to its luxury. Professionally decorated with designer furnishings from Restoration Hardware, Arhaus, Anthropologie, and Pottery Barn, the impeccable interior design complements the architectural features like the vaulted tongue and groove ceilings, hickory hardwood flooring, granite countertops, and floor-to-ceiling stone fireplaces.

About the Home
• Open-concept living, dining, and kitchen on the main level with breakfast bar seating for 2, dining for 6, and gas log fireplace.
• Spacious, covered deck with a custom concrete picnic table, lounge seating, gas log fireplace (please see note), and 65" TV.
• The lower level recreation room boasts a 65" TV, a Nintendo Switch gaming system, foosball, wall scrabble, toys, and access to the lower deck with a hot tub and hanging daybed swing.
• Technology amenities include: in-cabin high-speed fiber optic WiFi, Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, AT&T TV, ESPN+, and Alexa enabled high fidelity Smart speakers.
• Properties with stunning mountain views like this one often equate to windy and steep roads in our area. During the colder winter months, icy and/or snowy road conditions and delayed snow plow operations are possible within the development. From December through March, please come prepared with AWD or 4WD vehicles. We also highly recommend travel insurance.

Where to Unwind
• Main floor primary bedroom with king-size bed and spa-like en suite bathroom with a sleek marble-top double vanity, easily accessible glass walk-in shower, and garden tub.
• The lower level offers two additional bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and one with 2 sets of twin-size beds. A full bathroom, with a shower and bathtub combination, can be accessed from the hallway.

Where to Explore
As a guest within The Preserve at Wolf Laurel community, you'll have access to the horse stables, fishing streams (fishing rods provided), and hiking trails (trekking poles provided) via the Appalachian Trail. The "Big Bald" hike is a must! Wolf Laurel Stables is open to the public and rides can be scheduled 7 days a week from 9 AM to 5 PM from mid-April through November. Off-season or after-hours rides may be scheduled by appointment.

• Hatley Pointe Ski Resort (formerly Wolf Ridge) | 14 minutes
• Nearest Gas, Prices Creek General Store | 17 minutes
• Burnsville Town Center | 22 minutes
• Nearest Grocery, Ingles Market | 25 minutes
• Navitat Canopy Adventures, Ziplining | 35 minutes
• Downtown Asheville | 45 minutes

PLEASE NOTE: Alpine Outlook is a NON-smoking, NON-pet friendly home. This home has an outdoor ring doorbell security camera. While operable, the outdoor gas logs fireplace is NOT an included amenity. It is very difficult to light, and you must do it yourself if you wish to use it during your stay. Greybeard will NOT send a technician to the home to light it. If you're having a family reunion and need overflow accommodations, Hadleigh House is within a 1-minute drive.

Cabin is beautiful, experience OKAY
Cabin is built great, looks wonderful. The area is definitely in the middle of the woods/mountains. It is gorgeous, but it is a dry county with NO stores closer than 30+ minutes, so come prepared! I think that detail needs to be mentioned better, especially to out of state guests that aren't familiar with the area. As far as the amenities, the outdoor fireplace was working, however the indoor fireplace in the livingroom did not. I was in contact with the help line and someone did come by to try to fix, however it never actually fixed the problem and we never got to use it. The hot tub has a feature on it to go into sleep mode, which we found out the hard way. After a long day of builtmore, we came back to sit in the tub and it was 80 degrees and had gone into sleep mode. While both things are not that huge of a deal necessarily, you’re paying to stay and enjoy your time, not be a homeowner troubleshooting issues around the house. We had one dishwasher tab to use, therefore we had to either go buy some or wash dishes by hand the rest of the time. just little things like this that really don't matter to the owner apparently, but paying guests, its a big deal when they start adding up. The stables were not available for horse riding ... And please let people know to try and drive a 4wd or Awd vehicle ... we received a text the day before leaving that told us this info ... but we had already reserved our vehicle when we booked trip

Greybeard Rentals manages vacation rentals and vacation cabins in Asheville, Black Mountain, Montreat, Old Fort and surrounding areas. Located 10-15 minutes from downtown Asheville, Black Mountain is a quaint town with many great shopping options, delicious restaurants, breweries and access to hiking trails and wilderness areas. TripAdvisor named Black Mountain one of America's Prettiest Towns in 2017. Asheville is home to award-winning restaurants, stunning mountain views with access to areas like the Blue Ridge Parkway, The Biltmore Estate, and a variety of local art and culture. Oh, and did we mention Asheville has had the record for having more breweries per capita than any other U.S. city? We held the title for Beer City USA in 2009. Hiking trails are also located throughout western North Carolina.
