About this property

Cabin w/ Hot Tub, EV Charger, Cent A/C mins to Ski Resort & Trails, Paved Rd

Welcome to Mountain Serenity — Your Gateway to the Blue Ridge Mountains

Escape to Mountain Serenity, a beautifully appointed 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom cabin nestled in the exclusive Wolf Laurel community. Comfortably accommodating up to nine guests — and their well-behaved pets — this mountain retreat blends rustic charm with modern comfort, making it ideal for families, couples, or friends seeking a truly rejuvenating escape.

From the moment you arrive, the hush of towering pines and the sweep of mountain air signal that you’ve stepped into another rhythm entirely. The winding drive climbs to panoramic views that shift with the light — misty in the mornings, golden at dusk, starlit at night. Every detail has been designed for ease and enjoyment: high-speed Wi-Fi, two cozy gas fireplaces, a private hot tub with forest views, and a spacious entertainment room perfect for laughter-filled evenings.

Inside the Cabin
The open-concept living area invites connection. Curl up on the plush sectional beside the fireplace, stream a favorite show, or simply gaze through wide windows framing the ridgelines beyond. Warm wood tones, soft throws, and ambient lighting create a sense of calm after a day of adventure.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook, bake, or blend your favorite meals — stainless appliances, Keurig coffee and tea station, waffle maker, blender, Ninja Air Fryer, and quality cookware. Mornings here begin with the smell of coffee and mountain air drifting through the screen door; dinners linger with conversation long after the plates are cleared.

Upstairs, two private bedrooms each feature ensuite bathrooms. The primary suite offers a king-size bed, an electric fireplace, and a dedicated desk space for remote working guests who crave peace without disconnecting entirely. The second bedroom features a comfortable queen bed and its own ensuite bath. Both rooms include Smart TVs, premium bedding, and blackout curtains for deep rest.

Downstairs, the third bedroom is a retreat for kids or the young-at-heart, featuring two sturdy bunk beds (four twins) and its own bathroom — ideal for groups or extended families. A twin sleeper sofa brings total capacity to nine.

Entertainment Galore
The lower level doubles as your private rec room. A high-top dining table hosts spirited card games and late-night snacks. The 65-inch Smart TV anchors the movie space, complete with a popcorn and snack bar. Whether it’s a rainy afternoon or a quiet evening in, this floor was designed for fun.

Outdoor Oasis
Step onto the covered deck and you’ll understand why guests fall in love with Mountain Serenity. Dine al fresco surrounded by trees, sway in the hammock, or slip into the hot tub and watch steam rise against the backdrop of the Blue Ridge. In summer, the forest hums with life; in fall, the canopy ignites with color; in winter, the stillness is its own kind of luxury. Nights here are dark enough for star-gazing — thousands of constellations visible without city glow.

Pet-Friendly Getaway
A mountain home should welcome the whole family. A $150 pet fee per stay covers up to two well-behaved pets. Please let us know in advance so we can update your reservation. Pets must be leashed outdoors, and owners are responsible for clean-up. Wolf Laurel’s trails and open spaces are wonderfully dog-friendly, offering miles of fresh mountain paths and quiet clearings to explore.

Best Cabin Ever

Our family stayed at Mountain Serenity and wow we were Shocked at just how Perfect this cabin was. Our family with seven kids in their twenties had Plenty of room. The layout was amazing. The downstairs was HUGE with so much room for cozy seating in large leather couches. It’s set up for games and there is a clean, fun hot tub you’ll love. The bedrooms are Spacious with very comfortable beds, and there’s so much to do in the area. There’s a trout pond to fish in, hiking with beautiful overlooks, and a heated pool. This cabin and the area will surely meet all your needs just like it did ours. Oh yea and there is a Huge deck with a large table, cosy seating and even a hammock. I think we will try to book again for Christmas. Thanks Mountain Serenity.

Perfect location!

This is the second time we stayed in the Wolf Laurel community. Mountain Serenity was just perfect - it was clean and communication with the host was easy. The cabin is very spacious. My 16 year old daughter and her best friend commandeered the basement. It was perfect for them. The kitchen was VERY well stocked. All 3 bathrooms had body wash, shampoo and conditioner if you don’t want to pack your own. The hot tub worked well. The location is perfect. You have access to the AT and you have to drive to the top and take the easy hike to Big Bald at sunset. It’s breathtaking! Make sure to dress warmly - even with 90° days the temp at 5500 ft elevation at dusk was cool. Mountain Serenity also comes with access to the pool, tennis and pickleball courts. We were close enough to Asheville that it was easy to drive in for lunch or dinner and shopping. We also rafted the Nolichucky River with Wahoo Rafting out of Erwin, TN and had a fabulous trip!

Great cabin, location, and coffee options!

We loved the cabin especially for a summer visit since there is no upstairs dining area other than the kitchen island. It's a beautiful well-kept space that we found to be very clean upon arrival. Check-in was super easy. Beds were definitely comfortable; outside patio was a highlight with great seating options; hot tub was a hit and kitchen was well-equipped especially for coffee-lovers (Keurig, full pot options but better yet, French Press and Pour-over options too - bring your own coffee grinder though). Our hosts communication was excellent both in advance as well as throughout the week and their touches throughout the cabin were noticed like outlets with nightlights throughout, labeling on the outlets for easy knowledge of "whats-what", info on the area and Asheville, and plenty of towels and basics provided throughout the cabin. We had 9 of us for a few days as friends joined us and the sleeping/bathroom situation worked well even with that many. Wolf Laurel amenities were as described; one note is that the pool is a bit on the smaller size. The Community Center staff was very helpful with suggestions. There area numerous hikes within Wolf Laurel itself. Don't miss going up to Bald Mountain for sunset! Also the Waterfall Loop Trail was like having a private waterfall hike. The day we went, there was no one else on the trail. Very beautiful and quiet. One final note is that a good portion of the roads to get to hiking (including Bald Mtn) are gravel.
