The home is cute and equipped with everything you need. Unfortunately the deck and patio furniture were filthy and covered in spider webs - looked like it had not been cleaned or swept in a very long time. Needed to be swept, hosed down and washed. Also no patio umbrella was provided to insert into the table. BBQ cover was also dirty and covered in spider webs. Would have liked to spend more time out on the deck but it was just filthy. The curtain rod above the sliding glass door fell down twice including during the middle of the night. The staircase to the second floor is very steep - don't recommend for elders or young children.

Thank you for the feedback, and we're glad to hear the home was cute and well equipped for your stay. We're sorry the deck wasn't up to your standards. We have had a large pollen explosion at the lake that has repeatedly coated outdoor surfaces in the area. However, please know that the cabin and deck were thoroughly cleaned the morning of your arrival. We were unaware the curtain rod was loose, and if we had known during your stay, we would have addressed it right away. As for the umbrella, it's possible it had been stored in the deck shed, and we would have gladly pointed you to it or replaced it had we known. We appreciate you letting us know and will keep an eye on the outdoor areas going forward.
