About the host
Hosted by Anna Mike-Ebeye
We’re a husband-and-wife team based in Ontario, and Dragonfly Cottage is something we’ve built with a lot of intention. What started as a simple waterfront escape has slowly turned into a place we genuinely love spending time in—and sharing with others.
We both have busy careers, so the cottage became our way of slowing things down. Over time, we’ve put a lot of care into upgrading it—everything from the water system to the sauna and hot tub—not just for comfort, but to create a space that feels easy, relaxed, and a little special.
We host because we enjoy it. There’s something rewarding about knowing people are celebrating birthdays, getting engaged, or just taking a quiet break at a place we’ve put so much into.

Why they chose this property
We chose this area because of Florentin’s love for sailing. The first time we found Bob’s Lake, it just felt right—it quickly became our home away from home. There’s something special about spending time here, whether it’s out on the water or just relaxing in the backyard overlooking the lake.
What makes this property unique
It’s the balance that makes it stand out. You get the classic, quiet Bob’s Lake setting—clear water, natural surroundings, that “away from everything” feeling—but paired with comforts that aren’t always guaranteed at a cottage.
Between the sauna by the lake, the hot tub in the winter, and the open waterfront, it’s set up to be enjoyed in every season, not just the summer.
