Rustic and cosy frame house in the middle of the Palatinate forest

The Ferienhaus Katharina unites the rustic atmosphere of a frame house with the comfort of a up-to-date accouterment.
The living area on the ground floor includes a full-featured kitchen with a cosy dinette. The self-caterer finds everything he needs, like an oven with hob, coffee machine, toaster, dish washer and all utensils a cook needs to prepare a nice diner or breakfast.
The living room gives home to a big sofa where you can sit together and talk about the day's impressions. If you would like to relax with a good movie, you find a flat screen satellite TV (mainly German program) with DVD player, or you can listen to German or French radio program or your favorite CD (CDs and DVDs not included).
Three bedrooms on the upper floors let you recover for the next day's trip.
In the garden in front of the house you can relax in the sun or have a nice barbecue.

Reizvolles Haus in wunderschöner Umgebung

Das Haus mit seiner mehr als zweihundertjährigen Geschichte hat großen Einfluss auf eine sehr rasche Entschleunigung. Man fühlt sich dort sofort sehr wohl. Schön wäre, wenn die Nutzungsmöglichkeiten des Gartens dem in vollem Umfang entsprächen.

Nothweiler - fast am Ende der Welt, aber wunderschön.

Ein sehr schönes Fachwerkhaus mit allem was man braucht. Schöne Küche, großes Wohnzimmer,Schlafzimmer im 1.Stock großzügig, Betten sind toll, haben hervorragend geschlafen. Die Gastgeber sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben schöne Wandertouren gemacht - über Burgen, Grenzgängerweg bis zu den Altschloßfelsen. Und natürlich direkt hinter der Grenze in Frankreich einkaufen - spitze

Traumhafte Gegend zum Wandern!

Die Vermieter sind nett und hilfsbereit, Schönes Fachwerkhaus mit ausreichend Platz. Wir haben uns mit unseren Kindern und Hunden sehr wohl gefühlt. Im Ort gibt es ein sehr gutes Gasthaus mit leckerem Essen. Gefehlt hat uns nur eine Waschmaschine.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit im Ferienhaus Katharina. Es hat einfach alles gepasst, angefangen von der freundlichen Begrüßung durch den Vermieter, über die liebevolle Einrichtung des Hauses bis hin zur tollen Umgebung. Wir hatten ganz tolle 10 Tage im wunderschönen Dahner Felsenland. Das Häuschen in Nothweiler ist sehr sauber und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Eine große Küche die für ein Ferienhaus wirklich gut ausgestattet, bequeme Eckcouch, großzügige Schlafzimmer. Unsere Kinder haben sich auch sauwohl gefühlt, die Umgebung bietet allerhand Ausflugsziele für jedes Alter. Wandern geht in dieser Gegend natürlich immer und dank jede Menge toller Felsformationen und Burgruinen liefen auch unsere Kinder unermüdlich mit. Alles in allem eine schöne und erholsame Zeit.

Sehr gemütlich Ferienhaus in sehr ruhiger Lage. Geeignet für 3 Personen, mehr wird schwierig da nur ein Bad. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich im Nachbarort, mit dem Auto ca. 10 Minuten.

Idealer Ausgangspunkt um die Pfalz zu entdecken

Gemütliches Ferienhaus in dem es an Nichts fehlt. Sehr gut eingerichtet und für Familien ein toller Start- und Zielpunkt für die Ausflüge in den Pfälzer Wald. Es gelingt hier den Alltag zu vergessen. Sollte doch einmal etwas vermisst werden, einfach Eva und Dominik informieren und es wird alles getan um direkt zu helfen. Mit der Pfalzcard werden die Ausflüge zudem noch günstiger. Auch hierfür noch ein 👍🏻. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hübsches kleines Häuschen, das aber genügend Platz bietet.

Sehr freundlich, sowohl das Haus als auch die "Hauseltern". Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Auch WLAN. Es liegt nahe dem Ortskern und ist dennoch fast schon außerhalb. Gute Möglichkeit die nähere und fernere Gegend zu erkunden. Die PfalzCard ist mit inbegriffen (Kostenloser Eintritt in viele Bäder und Museen, sowie kostenlos mit dem Nahverkehr. Wir waren zum zweiten mal da und haben uns immer wohl gefühlt.

Cozy house in a beautiful village

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a beautiful little village with a few great restaurants and very easy access to hiking trails. It is also close to larger towns. The house was clean and well-maintained, and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. The weather was very hot while we were there, and so inside the house was very hot. It would have been nice to have a few fans, but I understand that this type of weather is not common. The main drawback of the house for us is that it only has one bathroom (toilet and shower in the same room), and it is on the ground floor. This led to some inconvenience during the day while people were showering/getting ready. It also led to some difficulties at night, especially for the people sleeping on the second floor because if they need to use the bathroom during the night, they have to come down two sets of stairs (and the set of stairs up to the second floor is very steep). Otherwise, it was a great place to stay!

Männerurlaub Anfang Februar

Zwei Männer und zwei Hunde Nichts hat gestört, nichts hat gefehlt. Vom Haus wurden lange Wanderungen unternommen und Dank der guten Küchenausstattung war es nicht schlimm, dass viele Gaststätten im Februar geschlossen waren. Durch die schnelle Holzlieferung konnte Feuer im Ofen die Behaglichkeit unterstützen. Vielen Dank!

Schnuckeliges Wohlfühlhaus

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dem urigen Fachwerkhaus und wurden mit viel Herzlichkeit begrüßt. Es war fast alles im Haus an Ausstattung vorhanden, was man sonst immer von zu Hause mitschleppen muss. Kosmetik wie im Hotel, Gewürze, verschiedene Teesorten, 2 Flaschen Sprudel, Kaffee, Zucker, Süßstoff.... Sogar ein vorab Einkaufsservice ist hier möglich. Vermisst haben wir nur ein Nudelsieb und einen Messbecher, aber das ist bei der sonstigen Ausstattung echt verschmerzbar. Der Preis ist unschlagbar. Wir empfehlen das Haus mit gutem Gewissen weiter.
