Welcome to Ocean View Retreat, an architectural designed, four-bedroom coastal holiday house sleeping up to 8 guests. Perfect for families or workers, it offers generous living areas, modern finishes, and plenty of room to relax and unwind. Designed for comfort and easy living, the light-filled interiors, open-plan layout, and multiple living zones provide space, privacy, and flexibility for both short and extended stays by the coast.

Ocean View Retreat is a double-storey home that comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests across four well-appointed bedrooms.

At the heart of the home is the open-plan kitchen, dining, and main lounge area that flows seamlessly to the outdoors, creating a true indoor–outdoor coastal experience.

The designer kitchen features stone benchtops, a large island with bar stools, a walk-in pantry, Nespresso coffee machine and plenty of storage. The dining area seats 8 and is perfect for shared meals, morning coffee, and entertaining. The main living area includes a large-screen smart TV and a comfortable L-shaped sofa—ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.

Step outside to your private backyard oasis, complete with a BBQ, firepit, and custom seating—perfect for long summer evenings or cosy winter nights under the stars. The large enclosed yard offers plenty of space for kids to run around, kick the footy, or enjoy a game of backyard cricket.

With three living areas throughout the home, there’s plenty of space for everyone to relax. In addition to the main lounge within the open-plan living area, there’s a kids’ retreat upstairs, complete with a selection of games and offering glimpses of the sea in the distance. A smaller lounge at the front of the house provides an additional quiet space to unwind.

All bedrooms are located upstairs. The spacious master has sea views and features a king bed, ensuite (shower and toilet), seating area, and walk-in robe. Bedrooms 2 and 3 include queen beds and built-in robes, while the fourth bedroom has two single beds and built-in robes. There is also a sofa bed in the living area upstairs that can accommodate two extra guests on request.

Ocean View Retreat has a secure double garage, complete with 3-phase EV charging—ideal for electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles. A standout feature is the wide side access, providing secure space for a boat, caravan, or additional vehicles—perfect for guests exploring the Great Ocean Road or surrounding coastline.

The home offers three bathrooms. One is conveniently located downstairs with a walk-in shower and toilet, while upstairs you’ll find the main bathroom (with bath, shower, and toilet), along with the ensuite.

Enjoy modern convenience throughout your stay, including whole-home ducted heating and cooling, double-glazed windows for added comfort and quiet, smart lock entry, an EV charger with three-phase power, and high-speed WiFi. There is also a washing machine and dryer for guests to use.

Ocean View Retreat is just a short walk from Logans Beach, renowned for its seasonal whale watching and beautiful coastline. The nearby Hopkins River offers a peaceful spot for fishing and water activities, while Warrnambool’s vibrant town centre is only a 10-minute drive away, with a great selection of cafés, restaurants, and shops. The region’s main swimming beaches are also just a short 10-minute drive from the property.

Logans Beach is located approximately 1.5km from the house and can be reached via a beach track. Well known for whale watching during the cooler months, it’s also a popular surf break. Due to strong currents and ocean swell, swimming isn’t recommended, but it’s a great spot to explore and take in the coastline.

The Hopkins River Mouth, locally referred to as the Blue Hole (around 2km from the house), is a striking location featuring dramatic cliffs, unique rock formations, and natural rock pools. It’s a favourite for fishing, scenic walks, as well as kayaking and paddleboarding.

The Foreshore Promenade links Warrnambool’s beaches from the Hopkins River through to Lady Bay and connects with the Rail Trail to Port Fairy. It’s perfect for a morning run, relaxed walk, or a bike or scooter ride with the kids, with several great coffee spots along the way.

Many visitors are drawn to the region to experience the geothermal pools at Deep Blue Hot Springs, with sessions available throughout the day and evening, along with a range of wellness and spa treatments.
