As you wind your way down the long, tree-lined driveway, the pace of life begins to slow. The cottage reveals itself, perched on its own small peninsula, with water stretching out on three sides. A trampoline greets you near the parking area, hinting at the laughter and energy this property welcomes, before a set of stairs leads you up to the front entrance and into your home for the week.
Inside, the main floor opens into a bright, inviting great room where the kitchen, dining, and living spaces come together effortlessly—perfect for shared meals, morning coffees, and late-night conversations. Just off to the right, two comfortable bedrooms await: one with a queen bed and crib for young families, and another with a queen bed, both conveniently located near a full four-piece bathroom. Upstairs, the open loft offers a cozy retreat with a king bed and a twin with safety railings, making it an ideal space for kids or a small family to settle in.
The lower-level walkout expands the cottage even further, offering three additional queen bedrooms, a three-piece bathroom, and a relaxed TV lounge for movie nights. Just beyond, a versatile rec space invites a bit of friendly competition or downtime, complete with a games table, electric fireplace, and even a Peloton bike for those who like to stay active while away. Whether you’re gathering for a board game or sneaking in a quiet workout, there’s room for everyone to enjoy the space their own way.
Outdoors is where Peninsula Point truly lives up to its name. With easy access to the lake from both the dock and a small sandy beach that appears when water levels are lower, swimmers and non-swimmers alike can enjoy the water at their own pace. A small playground adds another layer of fun for younger guests, while the expansive upper deck offers panoramic views in every direction. Here, you’ll find a comfortable conversation set with a propane fire table, outdoor dining for six to eight, and a screened-in sunroom—perfect for lingering dinners, morning coffees, or a late-night game of cards as the lake settles into stillness around you.

Post departure cleaning is arranged immediately following your check out time. Please ensure the short pre-departure cleaning checklist is completed and you have fully checked out of the cottage by your departure time to avoid any additional cleaning fees.

Waterfront Set on a point with an impressive 470 feet of frontage, the cottage offers exceptional waterfront access. A sandy beach provides a gradual entry, deepening to approximately 8 feet off the dock. With exposures to both the south and west, you’ll enjoy sun throughout the day across different areas of the shoreline. There are few to no weeds, making it excellent for swimming too!
Boating The dock will accommodate boats up to the size of a pontoon boat. A public boat launch is available, and there is a marina on the lake.

The Gut. This conservation area features scenic trails, a lookout, and stairs down to “The Gut”—a dramatic 230-metre gorge where the Crowe River flows between 30-metre-high rock walls. (25 mins)
Lithic Life. Lithic Life is a unique outdoor experience that blends Indigenous knowledge with hands-on activities like axe throwing, fire-making, and stone tool demonstrations. It offers an engaging way to connect with nature, history, and traditional skills in a forest setting. (35 mins)
Petroglyph’s Provincial Park. Home to Canada’s largest concentration of Indigenous petroglyphs, known as “The Teaching Rocks.” Nearby, explore the vivid blue-green McGinnis Lake—one of Canada’s rare meromictic lakes—with great wildlife viewing opportunities. (45 mins)
