The villa consists of three separate modern pavilions, decorated in a traditional Fijian bure style with coconut posts, woven mat ceilings, and locally crafted, purpose-made furniture. It features a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, catering for up to 10 guests.
The layout flows easily across the three pavilions, with abundant natural light, cross flow ventilation, louvred windows, and sliding doors to capture daily sea breezes. All pavilions are connected by covered walkways, making it easy to move between them. A large outdoor deck includes a Jacuzzi spa bath for relaxation. The property does not have air conditioning but is fitted with ceiling fans in each pavilion and benefits from cooling ocean breezes.
Two pavilions are configured as bedrooms. The first pavilion serves as the main adult retreat, featuring a king-size bed, smart TV, and driftwood coffee table and desk. It also includes a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite. High ceilings are lined with traditional Fijian mats, creating an authentic bure atmosphere.
The second pavilion is similar in size and style, offering one queen bed and two bunk beds for flexible accommodation.
The third pavilion combines the kitchen, dining, and lounge areas. It is well-appointed with comfortable and stylish locally made furniture and modern appliances. All three pavilions open onto a large private deck with outdoor dining, a daybed, hammocks, and a boat-shaped spa bath, as well as direct beachfront access with stunning ocean views.
A purpose-built traditional bure right on the beachfront includes a table for romantic dining and two lounges for relaxation.
Kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkeling equipment are provided free of charge.
Regularly used by the owners as their luxury holiday home, the property is extensively fitted out for rest and relaxation.

Why they chose this property

Positioned right on Nukubalavu beachfront, this property offers uninterrupted ocean views and 3 km of natural beach walks. Shared with a community of 15 other beachfront property owners, it allows guests to enjoy peace and privacy. This idyllic location provides the tranquility of ocean sounds and beach walks, yet is only a 10-minute drive to Savusavu town center, where all shops, restaurants, banks, and services are located. There are no properties positioned in front of the residence—just a mixture of palm and native trees before the beach and ocean. Designed to host up to 8 guests. For groups larger than 8, we can arrange additional sleeping options to ensure everyone has a comfortable place to sleep and stay. The exact setup will depend on your group size and preferences, and we are flexible in arranging the beds to suit your needs. Please let us know the number of guests and your preferred sleeping arrangements in advance, and we will make sure everything is prepared for a comfortable stay.

Bonfires on the beach are allowed at any time. You can collect firewood (plenty is available) or ask the villa hostess to help organise it.
When using the spa, please do not bring glass plates or drinking glasses, as they may accidentally break and render the spa unusable until cleaned. Dedicated spa-safe glasses are provided.

Cleanliness
All surfaces, including benches, tabletops, light switches, remotes, and door handles, are disinfected and cleaned before every arrival. Extra attention is given to high-touch areas such as internal door handles, cupboard handles, fridge handles, and appliances.
Hospital-grade and/or commercial-grade disinfectants are used in all bathrooms and toilets. Linen and laundry processes follow heightened hygiene standards with extra care applied to all laundered items.
Any staff with cold or flu symptoms will not be permitted to attend the property, ensuring your health and safety.

What makes this property unique

Transfers to and from Savusavu Airport are provided at no additional cost.
An outdoor BBQ is available for your use; however, please clean it after use, or a $30 cleaning fee will apply.
For a fee of $20 plus the cost of food, you can experience a traditional Fijian oven cooked food called lovo. Food is placed on hot stones, covered with leaves, and slow-cooked underground for around two hours. It is highly recommended—if not for the taste, then for the experience. Please ask our hostess, Kesa, if you would like to arrange this.
Our hostess can also prepare meals upon request. Please provide at least one day notice so she can organise ingredients. A must-try dish is kokoda—if you enjoy sushi or sashimi, you will love it.
We can also organise trips to local places of interest. Costs vary depending on distance and time spent. Please contact Kesa for details.
Food and drinks can be ordered through our hostess and delivered for the cost of the items plus a $20 delivery fee. Alternatively, taxis to Savusavu cost approximately $10–$15 one way, and Kesa can assist with arrangements.
We do not take any commission from payments made for local services such as cooking, excursions, or deliveries. All funds go directly to supporting the local community.

Locals
We are located 200 meters from a local village with very friendly residents. You may see villagers walking along the beach collecting coconuts or fishing. A simple “Bula” greeting will be warmly returned. Children may be curious and watch from a distance—this is completely normal. Fijians are kind, gentle people who are always willing to help if needed.
