The Sand at Ocean Palms Retreat is a beautifully renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bath, second floor apartment located mid-island with canal views and tranquil neighborhood. Two blocks to the beach mid-way between two beach access points.

Canal views from the windows and balconies. Manatee, dolphin, and palm trees galore from your kitchen, dining, living room and balcony of your unit. Fully equipped kitchens with a Keurig Coffee Machine, additional seating for guests, Dishwasher, Rain Shower heads and spa shower panels where equipped. Hotel style five star linens and towels complement our comfortable surrounds so you can unwind and relax in style.

High speed internet, WiFi, Alexa, streaming music and lookup features, 4k streaming smart TV, coded door locks and smart thermostat capabilities, Remote fan and light controls, Recessed lighting with dimmer controls add to the mood setting enjoyment of your stay.

Fort Myers, Bonita Springs and Naples are all modern cities with plenty of shopping, dining and sightseeing to experience. The South West International Airport in Fort Myers is close by for convenience as well.

Pet friendly restrictions and fees apply. Dogs are permitted up to 25 lbs and non-aggressive breeds only with pet fee paid in advance. Pets restricted to dogs only, no other pets allowed and penalties enforced. Excess cleaning charges may apply. Dogs must be leashed when outdoors, must be cleaned up after and can't be walked on anyone else's property.

We stayed at The Sands for a long weekend. The condo was very clean and had great amenities. We appreciated the concierge services. We hope to come back when it's a little warmer so we can spend more time lazing on the comfortable screened porch. Thanks for a great stay.

Upon arrival the outside porch light did not work,the steps are designed very dangerously,had 2 of our group trip off off the side of the steps ( no light ) one got hurt.the other had a slight ankle sprain,upon entry to room smelled of mold and mildew,the ad stated the room was steps away from the ocean,there was a private unaccessible canal across the road but the ocean was at least a quarter mile away. I called the listed number and talked to a young lady to inform her the first day we were there that we were overly disappointed and she asked what I would like her to do-i told her I tried to back out of the room 3 weeks prior to our arrival and was told I could only get a 50 percent refund..so we tried it..I said what would you suggest we do at this point? And she really had no suggestions other than stating that she would have the owner call me right away..waited all week ,would not recommend this room to anyone especially with the mold conditions and you better want to walk a lot of you want to enjoy the beach.

Guest safety and satisfaction are very important to us. We apologize for the porch light issue upon your arrival. There is a dedicated exterior light above the steps and entrance door, as well as multiple other exterior lights on the property. We will have our team inspect and confirm all lights are fully operational right away. Regarding the beach access, the property is located just across the main road with a walking time of about 4 minutes (under a quarter mile) to the ocean beach. We describe it as a short walk rather than directly "steps away," and many guests have enjoyed this convenient location. We’re sorry if the description led to any misunderstanding. We were surprised and disappointed to hear about the mold/mildew smell, as this is not something we’ve encountered in previous stays. The unit is professionally cleaned with high-grade cleaning products before every arrival, and our inspectors thoroughly check the property both before and after each stay. We would have immediately sent a cleaning team or arranged maintenance if we had known about this during your stay.We’ve been fortunate to host hundreds of guests at this property who have had positive experiences, but we take every review seriously, especially when things go wrong. We wish you the best on future travels. If there’s anything else we can do or clarify, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you again for your review.

We loved the place. Beach decor, updated and fully functioning kitchen to keep our cost down by not eating out. We were within walking distance to the beach, big plus. And had our coffee every morning on the screened in deck, and drinks every evening. Beautiful

The unit is centrally located on the island. It was very comfortable and clean. We loved the way it was decorated and the view of the canal from the front window is a Kodak moment. We would definitely stay there again!

An amazing stay!

We had a great time at this unit. It was really clean, had good supplies for the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry. The location was great, about half way b/w Times Square and Lover's Key. The neighborhood was quiet, had great views up the canal and was just a short walk from the beach. We'd definitely rent this one again!

Clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated apartment in a quiet neighborhood within short walking distance to great beach. We brought our bikes, and biked everywhere. It was chilly the week we were there so we appreciated the big smart TV with You Tube TV.

Quiet neighborhood with a walk to the beach

Loved our stay at The Sand. It was quiet, quaint, and just a few minute walk to the beach! I would recommend buying any cleaning supplies, coffee, spices, beach gear etc. you may need. Otherwise the stay was amazing and tucked away at the end of the block.
