Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, listing accuracy
Typically I would not write reviews but the host was not accommodating and wanted to charge us $50 for dropping off our backpacks early, that is fine we just took the backpacks with us. But when we arrived the place was not clean, you could tell the towels and bathroom were not that clean and in general the blankets/area seemed and smelled like it was not “freshly” washed or cleaned. In addition, after our payment had been made, we woke up morning of check out to see that the host tried to charge us a “tip for the cleaner” fee and stated that this was “common courtesy and appreciation” which we did not think was even remotely warranted as we did not make any mess and again, the place was not clean coming in. If you want to “appreciate” your cleaners maybe put that as a charge so people have visibility when they are booking and be a little kinder to your guests.
