Tranquil, private, and beautifully situated only 50 feet from the shores of Mitten Lake, this log home in Lac Du Flambeau will help you relax, unwind, and take in the serene beauty of Wisconsin's Northwoods. This lakefront property is wonderful for glimpsing black bears and other passing wildlife, canoeing from the private dock, and snowmobiling all winter on the network of surrounding trails. The living space is simple and classic, offering a fully equipped kitchen, a sunroom lined with windows, and four bedrooms. Please note that this property does not have A/C.

This home is located on the southeastern shores of Mitten Lake, an exceptionally quiet, non-motorized body of water that awaits just down a path through the trees. In the summer, you'll be mere steps from your dock, where you can put in the provided canoe or your own kayak, raft, or stand-up paddleboard. You'll have access to an extensive network of ATV and snowmobile trails in the area, as well as excellent open-water fishing in the summer, ice fishing in the winter, and several walking, hiking, and biking trails nearby. The town of Lac Du Flambeau is seven miles east, as is the ever-popular Lake of the Torches Resort Casino.

All guests shall abide by The Good Neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
The lake is for trolling motors only.

Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
