We enjoyed our weekend at this lovely home The house is bright and clean. It is located close to the beach and the bike trail, very easy to walk or bike. It is close to good restaurants and not too far from downtown Falmouth .
Kristen’s property was lovely! House was comfortable for our party of 5 (including our 3 year old) with great options for relaxing, including the sun room and back patio, as well as a finished basement with board games and toys that my daughter was excited to discover. Location is unbeatable - a 7 minute walk through a neighborhood of classic “old Cape” summer homes gets you to one of the best and most family-friendly beaches in Falmouth. Kristen was super responsive and check in was a breeze - highly recommend!
We very much enjoyed our stay in the wonderful village of Megansett.
The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, a 5-min walk away from the beach.
The house was clean, comfortable, light, and well-equipped. The 1st floor is an open floor plan (kitchen / living room/ dining room) and has a half bath as well as a sun room. The 2nd floor has 3 small bedrooms and a full bath.
The backyard is quite pleasant with a nice seating area, a hamac, and a grill.
I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a place off the beaten path.

The property itself is beautifully restored and in a great location. We originally booked a beachfront property but changed to this one to be closer to friends. Although it is not on the water, it is only a short walk to a great beach that the kids loved. The house felt as though it had not been fully prepared for our arrival. After a full day of travel, we arrived to find four of the five beds unmade, with sheets left beside the beds. The primary bedroom did not have sheets available. I later learned that guests are expected to bring their own linens, which may be practical for local travelers but was difficult for us as we were flying in from out of state. The refrigerator was set to its lowest cooling setting when we arrived, and some of the food we brought for our stay spoiled before we realized the issue. The washer also appeared not to be functioning at first because a water safety lever had been switched off.The host responded to messages and delivered sheets for the primary bedroom on the second day. However, our interactions felt somewhat strained, and the extensive checkout requirements—including washing all bedding and towels before departure—diminished what was otherwise a pleasant stay in a lovely home.

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased you enjoyed the home, its restoration, location, and easy access to the beach.
We do want to clarify a few points for future guests. Our listing clearly notes that guests provide their own linens, which is common for many Cape Cod vacation rentals, and this information is provided prior to arrival. When we were contacted about sheets, we responded promptly and delivered requested linens.
The refrigerator being set to a low setting. We have no way of knowing what last renter left setting at. The washer simply has an on/off switch above it. It has never been a problem before.
We work hard to maintain a beautiful, well-equipped vacation home and provide clear expectations for our guests. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay overall and hope you had a wonderful time on the Cape.
Nice old house on quiet side street a few blocks from the beach. It’s smaller than it looks in the picture but 6 of us were comfortable. The shed has a good collection of toys including 2 kayaks. Getting then to water really requires a vehicle with a rack. Well equipped kitchen. Megansett is a charming but quiet community. A little trespassing and a short swim will get you to Lawrence’s island, a beautiful natural area that is open to the public.
Thank you! We loved staying in your house in Megansett! The house was so relaxing, open, bright and comfortable! It was equipped with everything we could possibly need, and it was so close to every place we wanted to go! So easy to get to! We loved the restaurants close by! The beach was fantastic with beautiful sunsets and just a short walk away! We definitely want to come back next year! Thanks again! We had a great week!
Cute cape within walking distance to Megansett harbor
Great place for a 2 night stay as we were celebrating our daughter’s wedding at Seacrest on Old Silver Beach. Walking distance to beach and coffee shop.
This was a good spot for 4 people to stay and have 2 more for dinners around the holiday. The open plan downstairs was perfect for collaborative meal prep and conversation.
On the down side, we were the last renters of the year and the house was showing some wear. We had to fiddle with both thermostats, the toaster quit working, and there were only 2 wineglasses. Based on our communications, I'm sure the owners would have been right on these things if we'd asked, but our time was short and we didn't want to spend it coordinating.
