Family & Dog Friendly Oceanfront

'Carolina Dawn' is a comfortably furnished and fully equipped oceanfront duplex (East side). Just steps from the beautiful sandy beaches and crystal clear waters of Emerald Isle, this is one of the most family friendly beaches in the Southeast. This lovely home sleeps 11 people and is equipped with free wifi and cable tv. There are 2 oceanfront primary suites with king-sized beds, bathrooms and private decks. A third oceanfront room has a queen-sized bed and oceanfront deck. The two other rooms offer views of the sound. One has a queen sized bed. The other has a full sized bed and a twin bed - perfect for kids. The updated kitchen is fully stocked and offers a great view of the ocean as you cook. The dining room table seats 8 and the oversized bar seats 4. There's a charcoal grill along with an assortment of boogie boards, sand toys and more. A private, spray off area and outdoor shower (with hot & cold water and a hand-held shower head) make clean-up easy. Up to two well-behaved dogs (depending on size, breed) are welcome with a $150 non-refundable deposit. Other amenities include flat screen "smart" TVs, DVD players.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please put linens/towels into provided laundry bags by cleaning service. If none are available, please use the pillowcases.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet. Since this property is on a septic system, this can cause clogs and damage.
Please do not exceed 12 people on the 1st and 2nd floor decks and no more than 6 people on the 3rd floor decks.
Garbage collection is on Monday and Friday; recycling is on Wednesday. Please roll out before 8am the next morning or items may start to accumulate.

Great beach house!

This house was well provisioned for a fun beach stay; it was comfortable and unfussy. Everything was clean. We appreciated having chairs and beach toys available for the kids, plus a well-stocked kitchen.

PERFECT!

The home was beautiful, the view and access to the beach was amazing. Communicating with Amy was so easy and quick. Plenty of little amenities that make the stay convenient without having to go back out to stock up. Amy passed local information that definitely made a difference in our time there.

Everything was absolutely perfect! Beautiful, on the beach and the owner responded in seconds on some questions. Plenty of room for our group of 6 and still had bedrooms leftover! I strongly recommend this home for your vacation!

Amazing Location

We had a wonderful time! We were worried about finding a dog friendly beach rental and found this property and knew it would be perfect. Amy was so helpful throughout the whole process. The house is great and the location was perfect. Our dogs got to live their dream beach dog life!

Great summer vacation

We genuinely enjoyed our time at Carolina Dawn this summer. We had more than one family with enough space to make it work at all times. The owners were very easy to work with. We loved being able to bring our dogs to enjoy the sun and sand with us. We found everything we needed and recommend the house and location for future rentals!

Wonderful House

Our family of 8 stayed here for Thanksgiving week and we had such a great time!The house is nice and very clean. Plenty of room for all of us! Nice kitchen and plenty of dishes, cookware etc. Easy communication with owner when I had issues with the TV. Will definitely stay here again in the future❤️

Best Emerald Isle house ever

Everything was perfect I am so glad we found This home to rent. From booking to check out Amy was amazing to work with. We had a large group of family and friends the house had so much room you always had your space. The beach was only steps away and the views from the deck were always picture perfect. The house had everything we needed or wanted. Can not wait to stay again

Girls Club 2021

Fabulous location and the house (actually a duplex) completely suited our needs. Seven “older” women who get together annually for a short visit. Plenty of beds, bathrooms, spaces to gather, spaces to be alone. The home is a little dated and is showing a few signs of wear and tear. Otherwise it would be a five star rating. The owner, Amy, was a gem to work with. Excellent responsiveness. Wish we could have met her. The house totally suited our needs and given everything, I would absolutely rent it again.

Comfortable & Serene Ocean Front Property

My husband, our teenaged goddaughter and our 2 year old dog spent a long weekend in Emerald Isle in late April. The house’s ocean front location was ideal for our small group. The house had lots of room for the three of us to spread out. The top floor suite was ideal for our teenaged goddaughter because she was able to stay up as long as she liked watching her Tik Tok videos without disturbing the adults. The main level with its open kitchen/dining/living area was ideal for our communal meals and socializing. Our dog enjoyed the fact that we had easy access to the beach where she could sniff and frolic (on leash, of course) in the surf any time she wanted. The neighborhood was quiet yet conveniently located within a couple of miles of a grocery store, a seafood market and several restaurants. Amy, the host, was very proactive and responsive to all of our needs. We will definitely stay here again!

Bily Family Vacation

Renting the property was easy. The living room has been refurbished with new furniture. That was lovely. However the listings of either king or queen beds in every room is inaccurate. One bedroom only has a full size (double) and no television. My adult children were disappointed. Both are larger people and used to a king bed. There are several other little things that could be done to greatly improve the property. Kitchen faucet needs replaced. You get a bath every time you do dishes. Plan on changing your shirt because you will be soaked. In the second floor master bath, a grab bar needs to be installed. The back door is almost impossible to open and close.

Well kept house in a great quiet location

The house was very well maintained and in a quieter location on Emerald Isle. There is plenty of beach. The amount of steps up to the house and down to the beach seems better than most houses in this area. The big deck off the main level is great for the common area but the decks off the beach side bedrooms are very nice too. The kitchen was well stocked and as a bonus the Dollar General is a really short walk for anything you forgot to bring or for a limited selection of groceries. Property manager is great too. He stopped in early to mid week just to check to make sure everything was good. The furnishings were comfortable and the large dining room table was nice. My only complaint was the outdoor grill. We love to cook and grill out at the beach but this grill was too small for a 5 bedroom house. It was in rough shape too. The burner controls didn't work right and it nealry caught fire because it was so greasy and not well maintained. A bigger/newer/cleaner grill would be advised.
