The best in Flamingo, like a Tuscan Villa

What a unbelievable property, beautiful views, great owner, it is like being in the hills of Tuscany. I will definitely return, very private.

Mark, thank you very much for your kind review. Yes, there are some parts here that do resemble the hills of Tuscany that you (being of Italian descent) so appreciated. When you come next time - I will show you parts that look like Capri or Amalfi Coast...Pura Vida !

Beautiful location

The property is very nice, the grounds are immaculate, the pool was our favorite part. The room is spacious and nice, though the furniture isn't very comfortable. Our favorite part of the room was the deck, with the expansive views at sunset.

Thank you Bill for your kind words. You forgot to mention that we actually have 2 large and warm tropical pools and extensive gardens and gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean and the new Marina and hills. Everybody loves to watch the spectacular sunsets from their terraces and decks

What we liked; Great view of the bay and ocean. Very quiet. It was very close to town, beaches, dining, and grocery. What we didn't like; Host was rude to one of our guests over the pool being very dirty with debris on a Sunday. He was rude to all of us at different times throughout our stay. We only received service 1 time in the 9 nights that we stayed. We had 3 wash cloths and 4 towels to last the whole 9 nights with 4 people in our condo. Our other guests of 2 also received service 1 time to their room. 1 washcloth and 2 towels for the 9 nights. The washer n dryer was in our condo but we were NOT allowed to use it, when I asked him. Got very upset when we plugged in our golf cart, because we didn't ASK, when he knew we were getting one. A tenant of his was the one that pointed out the plug-in to us. He would come in late at night drunk and if he seen any one of us he was tell us he was charging us daily for the plug to charge our golf cart. some nights we couldn't charge it because other guests with cars would park where the plug was.

A surprising Marina/ Ocean view !

Igor is a gem. A fantastic host and property owner. The grounds were amazing and lush! He and his staff along with their sweet pup, Bruno make you feel welcome and ready to enjoy the adventure of Costa Rica. We recommend the stay. Amazing!

Location, location, location

Well maintained and beautiful property. We spent an amazing week at Casa Lomas. The views and sunsets from our terrace were spectacular. The only complaint we had was that air conditioning was not included in the price, which you definitely need at this time of year in Guanacaste but Casa Loma’s was a 5 star stay and would return.

Thank you for your kind words. Here at Villas Casa Loma, our guests are always our priority and we do everything possible to make our accommodations comfortable and private. The only reason why we do not charge every guest for the use of air conditioning is that NOT every guest uses it...so why should we charge for something that the guest doesn't want or doesn't need. However, if a guest wants the use of the optional A/C - absolutely NO problem...Just pay the additional small fee for it and we will immediately turn it on. We advise every guest about this policy - in advance - before their arrival - when we send them the Receipt/Confirmation of Reservation - after they pay their reservation deposit We feel that is fairer to our guests rather than charge everybody for the A/C whether use it or not
