This will be your destination getaway where you can leave all your worries behind and come enjoy the emerald waters and white sandy beaches of Destin. You’ll love the 3 covered porches and a view of the Gulf! New furnishings in a private setting with the largest floor plan in Cottage Retreat, and all the included amenities make for a comfortable luxurious stay! DESTIN’ation is the perfect place for families coming to enjoy the warm weather and family time. The neighborhood is a gated community which gives guests an extra feeling of security. DESTIN’ation provides guests with over 300 feet of private beach to relax and soak up the sun. DESTIN’ation is a wonderful four bedroom home along Scenic Highway 98 just steps from the white sandy private beach (easy 2-minute flat walk)! This beautifully decorated home is spacious enough for a large family and quaint enough for a smaller family. This home features two living rooms, flat screen TV’s in each room and large private balconies with plenty of outdoor seating! The clubhouse features a workout center for those wanting to continue their workout program. The 3000 sq. ft. community pool is heated during the winter months and a hot tub is available for guest enjoyment.!

Great Vacation Spot!

We have stayed in the Beach Retreat community several times over the past 5 years, it really can't be beat! This is our favorite property that we have stayed in in the community. The size of the house and layout is ideal for two families, and proximity to the beach and the pool is perfect!

We had a fabulous time! The house was fully stocked and met all of our needs. The layout worked great for two sets of grandparents and our family. Loved how close it was to the beach and the included chairs and umbrellas. There are even many beach supplies at the house so we did not have to buy any. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

I have stayed in this beach cottage several times and I have nothing but GREAT things to say about it!! The owners provide EVERYTHING!! Beach towels, beach chairs, games, and plenty of household items! The AC works great (which is very important to us). We are looking forward to returning in August 2026!

Incredible stay!

We absolutely loved this house! It was perfect for our family of 10. Everything you need in a kitchen is provided plus all the beach chairs, towels, and boards. It is a quiet community with a very short walk to the beach. We had a little challenge trying to get the 3rd parking pass but the owner quickly responded and took care of it. Can’t say enough good things about this place! We will be coming back!

The accommodations were fantastic and provided plenty of room for our large group. We appreciated the extra amenities, such as beach chairs, beach towels, and access to a large closet containing many games and beach toys. The kitchen was well stocked. The main living area had ample seating that was comfortable. The extra large TV was a bonus! The dining table was very large and we were able to seat everyone (kids included) at the same time for meals. The upper living area had lots of seating and plenty of room. We enjoyed the multiple balconies with very nice patio furniture. It was located conveniently to the beach and pool. We highly recommend!

Why they chose this property

We chose Miramar Beach for the beautiful beaches and clear waters. We searched for a home that had an easy walk to the beach and wonderful amenities such as the pool and hot tub. We needed a large house as we have a big extended family! And, we wanted other families to be able to be together and enjoy as well!

What makes this property unique

In addition to enjoying our wonderful beach, there is plenty more to do in Destin. If you wish to explore the local area, you’ll find many choices. Sidewalks line Scenic 98 for walking, running or bike riding. We are a short 2-mile drive to Sliver Sands Mall to the West or luxury shopping at Destin Commons to the East. You will find over 100 stores at Silver Sands Outlet Mall such as Polo, Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, Tommy Hilfiger, Lenox, Nike and much more. If you want to eat out, you could enjoy delicious food at Kenny D’s, The Crab Trap and Pompano Joe’s all are within walking distance from the Beach Retreat Cottages. Destin is full of exciting night life if you venture into town. In addition, you could rent bikes, go snorkeling, jet skiing, parasailing, rent scooters, miniature golf, enjoy a movie at the Rave Motion Pictures or visit the Destin History and Fishing Museum, Emerald Coast Science Center Museum or the Air Force Armament Museum. So, whether you want to just relax at the beach or get out and explore, you can see there is plenty to do for everyone! Enjoy!
