My friends and I had a wonderful time staying here. It was the perfect location for our weekend events. Loved how it was right in downtown Jim Thorpe. Very spacious house and everyone had enough room. Highly recommend staying here.

Four couples had a great week in Jim Thorpe and this place was a big reason for that. It's a great location in downtown Jim Thorpe, with parking for 4 cars in the driveway up the hill right behind the house, Liza was a great host and the five bathrooms and 2-1/2 baths were very clean, interesting, and comfortable. Everything worked as expected. Would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to any group that appreciates antiques and the architecture of old buildings.

This house was absolutely beautiful! We stayed in the first floor garden level with the sun room. The house was in a very convenient location in town, everything was walkable. Liza was beyond helpful and communicative. The best stay, would come again!

Our group stayed as part of an annual friend getaway. The house exudes historical charm while being comfortable and well appointed. There was enough space to gather l, and also spread out when we needed to. Liza was a generous host and excellent communicator. We loved the walkable location and enjoyed our stay very much.

There were seven of us who got together for the weekend from 3 different states. Everyone loved staying in this mansion. It was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had great amenities. It was so nice not to have to worry about driving while we were in Jim Thorpe to explore the town!

This property is really well situated if you plan to not leave historic Jim Thorpe. With shopping, dining and activities within walking distance, this is an ideal location for many reasons. If you do not like crowds or people stopping by to sit on the front steps or stop at the bench in front of the house while you are there and someone wanting to come in, thinking it is some kind of “attraction” be aware. When the crowd numbers are high, this is not where you want to be if you seek solitude and quiet. Having dedicated parking is a PLUS, be prepared for a cardio workout when needing to get to the vehicle for any reason. The rear yard access is convenient, but can be daunting up the long and dark staircase. This is my second stay at this home and the checked boxes far outweigh anything else remotely negative. Jim Thorpe is a lovely town and this home is a perfect place to stay if you want to explore it. Perfect for families, couples or for us, a girls weekend, October, 2026!Liza was proactive in her communication with me, which was very appreciated.

This was an awesome stay from start to finish.. The home was spotless, well-decorated, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for getting around and so close to all the shops and restaurants ..Liza was friendly, quick to respond, and gave clear instructions for check-in and check-out! We absolutely loved this place. It was clean and comfortable. We are 6 college friends who stayed here for three days, and it was roomy and enough room for all of us. It was a great location to walk to restaurants, shops, the Opera House and the train station. I would 100% recommend this house.

Excellent stay in Jim Thorpe. This property is stellar in every way. Great location in walking distance to all the town has to offer. Home is spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated. It exceeded our expectations. Host was very accommodating and helpful. There were 10 adults in our group and we had a fabulous time.
