Unobstructed Ocean views from eco friendly Hacienda.

My name is Travis Wilson.
I work in the travel industry having founded my own travel and tour company All About Travel, LLC in 2000. I was born and raised in Kentucky USA but I am a world traveler having visited over 45 countries (and counting). A big part of my business is coordinating and escorting group travel. At any given time I may be at Disneyworld with 75 youth performing or in DC with 250 kids touring the Capital or in Chicago with 100 atop the Hancock tower. Or in Cabo with a group of 200 conference attendees.
I have been coming to the Baja for years and recently when COVID struck and my travel business took a hiatus, I bought Hacienda Santa Rita and made it my second home. I spent a year redoing the entire interior and modernizing and making it as eco friendly as possible.
I have many friends in the Baja area and feel fortunate to have found this gem of a community of Rancho Cerro Colorado and especially the new "love of my life" Hacienda Santa Rita.

Welcome home. Welcome to Hacienda Santa Rita. As you pass through our front door and catch your first glimpse of the Sea of Cortez your cares quickly drift out to sea. With a newly renovated interior, this Spanish style home sets atop a hillside with unobstructed views of the Sea of Cortez and the playful whales. With it's clever design, all the spaces within the home offer direct ocean views.
A large ocean front pool deck is ideal for sunbathing and relaxing.
The oversized interior spaces are idea for creating lasting memories.
The gated community offers a sense of security. There are lots of places out the door to hike and walk. You can even walk to the beach, if you don't mind hills, in about 10 minutes. After a year of renovating and modernizing my home I look forward to sharing it with others.
I've tried to keep the overall space feeling authentically Mexican/Spanish with the architects designs while modernizing the home for today's needs. An interesting fact of the house is there are no "straight lines" in it. All walls are curved.
In trying to be eco friendly, I had a massive solar system installed to offset the carbon footprint of the home. I also have a composter and do my best to recycle.
As I tell my travel clients, you can never fully appreciate the Baja and the home until you experience it. Every time I stay there it feels so warm and welcoming. The energy there is something you must experience to know.
At night drift off to the sound of waves and whales.

It is so peaceful, there have been times I was setting in the dining room or great room and heard whales breaching.
The home is so close to all the amenities in the area including the hospital, great restaurants and nightlife but far enough away to shut it all out and just relax.
From the pool deck you can also see the mountain range running up the Baja. We get some incredible sun sets over the mountains especially when there are some clouds.
