We really enjoyed our stay here! It was well-worth it, and there were many interesting places to check out nearby! (Make sure to go to the Lake George Mystery Spot, it's super odd.) It's the perfect spot for stargazing, you can see most of the sky without being impeded by trees or other mountains, and there's almost no light pollution.
There were two of us staying here, and while you could technically fit more people, it would be a really tight squeeze, so I wouldn't recommend it.
Great location with a great view, we hope to come back!

Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
The location was beautoful, however, there was no service or stores nearby
Overall, our group had a great stay. The view was beautiful, land was nicely kept, and the house was mostly comfortable and clean. On the other hand, our group encountered multiple problems that should have and could have been avoided. For starters, the address listed is not actually where the house is located. The house that is listed as the address for this property is an abandoned house. This issue was very difficult to navigate as we had no cell service. Luckily, when standing next to the abandoned house you can see up a very steep hill where the house listed is located. It took some time, but we eventually found a barely visible dirt road that led up to the house. Upon arrival, we noticed that the loft space advertised was about 2 feet tall and didn’t not include the two twin mattresses that were listed to be in this space. This was a very tricky situation to navigate as we were a group of 6 people with two less beds. The pull out couch bed in the living room did not open with the reclining chair in the living room as well. Since the house was so small, there was barely even somewhere to put the chair to be able to sleep. I think it was a bit misleading to say that this place accommodated six people because it definitely did not sleep six and barely even sat six. The water that came out of the faucets and shower had a foul odor and a brown tint to it. Given that it rained the whole time of our stay, the electricity and wifi were spotty. Overall, our group had a nice time. The host should’ve warned us to bring our own water and could’ve provided directions to the house.
